The Past or The Present?

Chapter 11

A/N: Hi! Sorry to keep you waiting guys been busy these past few days :) Hope you'll like my update.

It's been what?? weeks or months? since the last time that we saw each other? this man standing in front of me... I didn't mind if I stumble or fall but the first thing that I did is to run and hug him tight.... I really miss this man, tears started to fall and I can feel that all my worries fade away. I feel secure in his arms... He stiffened then hug me and caress my back.

"Hush... Boo I don't want to see you crying, you know that. Hey, I'm already here."

Humiwalay ako sa kanya then he cupped my face and wiped my tears.

"May pa-mystery ka pa kasi e! alam mo bang miss na kita!" he smile at me then grab me at my waist.

"Hey, sorry kung matagal bago ako nakabalik... di pa ksi ako gaanong sanay maghandle ng clients e... but I'll make out with you..."

Biglang nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi nya...

"What I mean is I'll make it up to you." Pinaningkitan ko sya ng mata.

"Why so pervert Mr. Dy? Miss me?" then I bit my lower lip.

"Urgh. don't do that! I've been celibate for a month!" I can feel all the blood rush up to my face, kailangan pa ba nyang sabihin yun?!

"Hey you're blushing... Hmmm. gusto mo ba dessert muna?" then he kissed me... Nabigla ako but I choose to answer his kiss... It was slow and passionate.. his lips, scent and warm I really miss this...

We are breathless when we stop. "Hey, we better eat bee."

"Urgh. ruining the moment my princess?" kinurot ko sya sa tagiliran nya...

"Okay fine. but please sleep in my unit. I really miss you beside me. Tagal ko nag-adjust dun sa states kasi nasanay akong katabi kita." At nagpuppy eyes ang mokong. I nodded and smile at him. He guide me to my sit and I watch him as he sit infront of me. We talk about our days and how he manage all his clients. Meron pa nga daw sumubok na iflirt sya but being a loyal and faithful boyfie di na nya pinansin. Syempre natouch ako sa ginawa nya. I suddenly raise my head when he asked a certain question...

"Boo, ano nangyari last night?"

"W-what do you mean? magkakasama kami nila alex bee." Sh*t nakita ba ni alex? may chance, kasi nakita nga kami ni Rean so... may possibility. No! No! wag muna...

"You didn't leave any messages kagabi kung nasaan ka na or nakauwi ka ng maayos di ko naman makausap ng maayos si alex kanina kasi parang nagmamadali yung mokong na yun nung kausap ko sa phone. But I called Manong Bert this morning and sinabi nya na nakauwi ka nga but you're crying, why boo? may nangyari ba?"

Sh*t oo nga pala nakita ako ni Mang Bert and knowing him magrereport talaga sya kay Vinn. Di sa pakielamero sya pero alam kong nag-aalala din si Manong sa akin... hayyy di ako prepared....

"A-ahh... ako? umiiyak? ba-bakit naman? I'm just wasted last night... kaya siguro akala ni manong umiiyak ako kasi red na yung eyes ko.. Ayun, yun talaga yun. You don't have to worry too much. Tsaka bakit naman ako iiyak? maayos kami nila alex kagabi. Masaya nga kami e diba nakita mo naman??." then I tried to smile at him.. He smile back and I feel so relieve.

"Ahh okay boo, akala ko kasi kung ano na e." Ayoko munang malaman mo, ayokong masaktan kita... Kasi alam kong apektado parin ako sa kanya. Mas mabuti munang ayusin ko ang isyu namin bago ko sabihin sa kanya.

"Boo, why don't we go out of town?"

"Well that's a great idea, saan mo gusto pumunta?"
"Baguio sana tayo boo."

"Ha? e galing kana sa malamig tapos gusto mo pa mag-baguio? why don't we go sa Ilocos nalang?" he nodded as a sign that he agreed. This is what I like about him, he's really a man of his words. Alam kong gusto nya talagang bumawi sa akin and to play my part babawi din ako sa kanya.

After our candlelit dinner we went straight sa condo nya and I already texted my mom na kay Vinn muna ako magstay. They allowed us kasi nasa right age naman na kami at pinipilit na nila kaming magpakasal but things are complicated parehas pa kaming career muna ang priorities at hindi kami nagmamadali. Having a family is a big step in our life.

When we reach his unit agad syang dumiretso sa CR para magayos ng sarili. I went directly to the kitchen para maghanda ng milk dahil bago matulog si Vinn e gusto nya ang hot milk with a bar of chocolate on the side of his cup.

When suddenly my phone rang...

Calling...

Unknown number

I don't usually answer calls na hindi register ang number but there's something in me na gusto ko syang sagutin and I just found myself answering the call and I regret doing that because the voice in the other line send shivers over my body...

"Hi Fatima..." I froze...
