For the past few days, Colby and I were able to spend time together at his house with his mother and his puppy. I took in the moment in pure happiness; knowing that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

I was nervous when Colby informed me that we needed to get back on the road and that he wanted to help me with starting out in my wrestling career. I was still new to taking these bumps and learning how to jump from the ropes and laying elbow drops.

Making our way back to his bedroom to pack our belongings before heading back on the road, I went into deep thought about this whole wrestling journey that I was about to take. I looked down at the little pieces of clothing that was lying in my suitcase and was in a trance.

"Hey, are you doing okay?" Colby asked, breaking my trance.

"Uh, yeah."

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I-It's nothing."

"There's something wrong, Katherine. I can tell by the way you're stuttering."

"Yeah, I'm just a little." I paused, "You know? Scared."

"Scared?" Colby asked, kneeling down to me and looking me into eyes. "What's scaring you, baby?"

"It's this whole wrestling journey. I just don't know where to start from here."

"Hey, I understand that it's nerve-wracking at first but you're going to do just fine. With me doing my hardest to train you, you're going to be one of the best wrestlers in the women's division." He smiled, "I just know it."

"Thank you for the reassurance, Colby." I said, reeling him into a hug.

The both of us proceeded to pack our belongings into our suitcases and head back on the road to the WWE Headquarters, and to meet up with Joe and Jon before the show. It was a very long drive, but thankfully Colby's reassurance helped me gain back the confidence that I desperately needed.

Approaching the WWE Headquarters, Colby parked the car and we walked over to Jon and Joe sitting down on a bench.

"What's up, guys?" Jon said.

"Nothing much. We just got back from Davenport and I was introducing Katherine to the pup and my mother."

"Aww, that's adorable!"

"Hey Katie," Joe stood up from the bench, "May I ask you something? Just the two of us?"

"I guess, sure?"

Joe and I walked a distance away from Colby and Jon and looked me in the eyes.

"Hey, I know this is weird but I just wanted to ask you a question."

"You're not hitting on me, Joe, are you? You're married!"

Joe chuckled, "No."

"Then what's the question?"

"Well, I know Colby is doing this with you, but I wanted to ask you if you'd want me to also teach you some more wrestling moves; just to get you started. You in?"

"I'm definitely in!" I said.

Joe looked down at me with a smile.

"Good. I know you have the potential, Katie."

We talked for a few minutes and made our way back over to Jon and Colby.

Colby cocked an eyebrow and glanced over at me, "Katherine, what was Joe talking to you about? I hope he wasn't trying to hit on you or anything."

"No, Colby. He was just wanting to teach me some wrestling moves to get me started; just like you!"

"Oh, okay." He replied.

It took awhile for us to get into the building and work out for awhile. Colby would always help me if I struggled to lift the weights and introduced me to a lot of CrossFit.

For hours on end, Colby would teach me his simple workout routines along with some wrestling move sets that looked impossible to perform. I watched Jon and Colby wrestle and throwing each other around. My eyes were widened and invested into becoming a wrestler; just like Colby and our friends.
-
Hours later, they finally wrapped things up and taught me some wrestling moves for beginners like myself. Colby exited the ring and looked over at me with his face and body drenched in sweat.

"Do you think you're ready, babe?"

"It depends. I've never had an actual match before."

"I mean, would you want to wrestle me tomorrow? I'd love to teach my girl some things about wrestling." He smirked.

"I guess that would be okay, but what if I mess up?"

"Katherine, everyone makes mistakes in the ring to get better over time. You'll improve with every match and I promise that."

"That's true, and Joe also said that he seen potential in me earlier when we had our talk."

"Well, he's right. I know you wasn't into wrestling at all until Brianna introduced you into it. I just know that you're going to kill it out there. Me and the boys are really excited to see you in the ring and someday winning a title. We'll always have faith in you, babe."
