After the doctor came into the room and said that Katherine was free to return back home, I made sure to take some time off from the ring and take care of her for awhile. But we had some talking to do once we made it home.

Arriving home the next day, Brianna dropped us off at Katherine's house while she hung out with Jon for the entire day. We sat down on the couch and I looked into her eyes that were full of sorrow.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked.

"I don't know. I feel numb."

"Listen, I know I said last night that we had some talking to do when we came back home, but I can explain everything to you."

"That's fine with me, Colby."

"Okay." I sighed, "After you told me her name, I knew immediately what was going on. Zahra was the same woman who cheated on me for another man at the time. I remember telling you about her a long time ago when we were talking about our ex's that one day."

"I had a feeling. I just don't understand why she would put us through this situation."

"Me either. To tell you the truth, I believe the baby isn't even mine."

"You think so?"

"I know so. Zahra pretty much would sleep with any man if she had the chance. She probably thinks that she can get back with me after everything she's done. She's probably pretending to be pregnant as well."

"I believe that. She had an attitude with me back at the café although I never said anything rude towards her."

"She's just a bitch, Katherine. I wouldn't let her get to you."

Katherine stopped talking and she leaned herself closer to me. I held her in my arms for awhile without a word being said for a few minute. All I could do in this moment was run my hand through her hair and give her the love that she rightfully deserves. I knew that she was traumatized after everything that happened. She needed this comforting moment with me.

"Babe?"

She looks up, "Yeah?"

"I love you and I'm here for you, okay?"

"I love you too, Colby. I appreciate it."

"I wanted to ask you a question."

"Sure, what's up?"

"Are you okay? After everything that's happened, that is."

"In a way, yeah. I'm just going through some depression lately and that situation with her didn't help me at all."

"I understand, but you can talk to me about these things babe. That's what I'm here for."

"I think all of this is because of my PTSD more importantly."

"I know, baby." I reeled Katherine into my embrace and comforted her in a way I knew how to.

"That whole situation had me spiraling if that makes any sense. After she said that, I had this unsettling thought that you didn't love me anymore. In my mind, I knew it was false, but because of the past experiences with Tony, I was afraid of going through the same experience all over again, you know?"

I paused, "Babe, look at me."

I looked into her eyes and gently pressed my lips against hers, reassuring her that I'd never break her heart on purpose.

"I'm not going anywhere, okay? I'm nothing like him and you'll always be safe with me. I see a whole future with you, Katherine. I wouldn't ever throw that away for some cheap thrill. I'll always love you and I want you to know that from the time you wake up, to the time you fall asleep."

I added, "And babe, you had me scared last night when I seen you unconscious on the floor. I thought I lost you to an overdose because of her and honestly, I couldn't live with myself if I ever lost you." I said, tearing up at the thought.

"I'm so sorry for putting you through that. I didn't know what to do in that very moment. My thoughts had me believing that you didn't want me anymore and it was a lot to take in that evening."

"Just promise me one thing."

"Anything."

"That no matter how bad things get in life, please come talk to me. I don't care if I'm in the ring or outside of the ring, I will always be there for you. I don't want to lose the woman I plan on marrying in the future. I care about how you feel and what bothers you. If anything comes to mind, talk to me."

"I promise, Colby."

"Good. I understand that mental health is a serious topic and I also have my fair share of depression, too, Katherine. I'm so sorry that she caused this whole mess between us. I'll always love you and I'm thankful that we met backstage that night. If it wasn't for Brianna, we wouldn't have known each other."

"I'll always be grateful that she brought us together." She smiled.

"Me too."

We made our way into the bedroom and laid down for awhile to watch some of the shows that she enjoyed. I was glad to see that she was feeling better than before and that helped ease my mind.

I knew that Zahra was trying to break us apart for some reason. I have a feeling that the baby isn't even mine because she cheats on every man she dates. I knew that she was doing everything in her power to sabotage my relationship with Katherine. But why?

I looked down to seeing Katherine laying on my chest and she was asleep. I seen a future with this woman. I seen myself becoming her husband, having a baby together and so much more.

However, I had some issues to resolve later on. I was going to confront Zahra and make it clear that I want her to leave Katherine and I's relationship alone. She almost caused Katherine to overdose and because of that, I'll never forgive her for everything she's done.
