Katherine Colbert was a twenty-three-year-old woman who was working at the local O'Charley's in her hometown of Los Angeles, California. However, her best friend since childhood, Brianna Michelle, invited her to attend a wrestling event with her that was taking place in their arena for one night only for Monday Night Raw.

Katherine wasn't thrilled about wrestling and didn't think much of the sport. She also thought it wasn't something that she would never be interested in.

However, Katherine was always into popular television shows like: Supernatural, Law and Order, and many other shows that the average person would watch. She seemed to enjoy crime-related shows, whereas zombie movies, too. Wrestling just never crossed her mind of interest.

On the other hand, Brianna was a huge wrestling fan ever since she was just a child. Her favorite wrestler of all-time was Dean Ambrose, before that was John Cena. Brianna always wanted to convince her best friend to love wrestling just as much as her, but it failed every time that she attempted.

Monday Night Raw was coming to Los Angeles, California for one night only and she didn't want to go alone. Instead, she waited for Katherine to get off of work and began to coax her into coming with her to the event and felt like this could be her chance to get her lifelong best friend to fall in love with wrestling.

The Beginning

"Please, Katie!"

"Please...what?"

"I heard that WWE was coming to Los Angeles for one night only. They haven't been coming here often and I wanted to bring you with me!"

"I don't know, Brianna." I shrugged, "I'm not into wrestling like you are."

"Come on!" She pleaded, shaking Katherine's shoulders as fast as she could. "It'll be fun, and I feel like you may end up loving it!"

"Maybe for you, but I guess I can come because you're my best friend." She sighs, "Be lucky that I love you so much like a sister. Otherwise, I wouldn't have wanted to go."

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Brianna pulled her into a hug.

"Wait! I forgot to mention that I bought us backstage passes to meet some of the wrestlers in a couple of weeks after the show's over!"

"That's cool."

"Girl, we'll be meeting actual celebrities. Aren't you excited one bit about going?"

"I'm only going because you convinced me to and because you're my best friend. I'll see if wrestling gets me excited or not when we go."

"Hopefully it does."

Katherine — Two-Weeks Later
I woke up around three in the afternoon, feeling exhausted and decided to grab myself a small cup of coffee. A few minutes later, I opened my closet and changed into regular clothes for the show tonight, along with doing my makeup and hair to kill the time.

I didn't see what made everyone excited about wrestling when it never once peaked my interest; not even in my childhood like it did for Brianna. Speaking of her, she arrived to my house by constantly knocking on my door.

I finally finished changing into my freshly-cleaned clothes and then opened the door to seeing her decked-out in wrestling merchandise from what it looked like; and holding a small poster in her hand.

"Hey! How do I look?" She asked.

"You look nice, Bri."

I was confused about the shirt that she was wearing. It had two eyes on it that looked like a person was locked-up in prison. It worded 'Ambrose Asylum.'

"What's that on your shirt?" I asked whilst raising an eyebrow.

"It's Dean Ambrose! You know, my favorite wrestler!"

"Cool, cool." I replied, "Anyways, are you ready to leave to the arena?"

Because I was new to this entire experience of attending a wrestling event, I had little-to-no knowledge when it came to the time we should've arrived to the arena. In the meantime, I sprayed some Gucci perfume on my shirt before walking out of the door.

"What time does the show begin and what time do we need to be at the arena?" I asked.

"The main show starts at eight."

"Main show?"

"Before the main show, there's a pre-show that consists of one match before the show airs on television, which is an hour earlier."

"Oh. Well, what time do we need to be at the arena?"

"Possibly six. But the pre-show begins around seven-thirty."

"Alright." I nodded, "We have some time since it's currently five. Wanna go to Starbucks and grab something to drink before we leave?"

"Of course!" She smiled. "Let's go!"

We left my house and stepped into her car while we blasted up some music on the radio. We drove to the nearest Starbucks and picked up some of our favorite coffees, then we headed straight to the arena.

Making it to the arena, Brianna was trembling with excitement as she pulled me into a tight hug, almost making me drop my Starbucks on the concrete in the middle of the parking lot.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Brianna repeated herself.

"No problem. Where do we go from here?"

"To the merchandise stand! Come with me!"

I watched her running to the merchandise stand while I continued to normally walk into the arena like a normal human being. I seen the majority of everyone here wearing something like looked like wrestling shirts and jackets and seen some children wearing gloves and necklaces that were possibly the wrestlers that they bought merchandise of.

"Let's see if wrestling can peak my interest." I said to myself as I shown the security guard my ticket and walked inside of the arena with Brianna.
