A few days later

I was enjoying myself at the café while Colby was with Joe and Jon at the gym. They had a few shows to participate in and I finally had some time to myself. I would've invited Brianna to join me, but she was working on her shift and I didn't anyone else to hang out with. I decided on ordering a small coffee on the side and took the entire day to relax.

While I was watching some videos on my phone, a woman approached me and she had straightened black hair that dropped down to her shoulders with brown eyes and she was a few feet taller than me.

"Excuse me, is your name Katherine?"

"Yes, I am. Is there a problem?"

"If you consider it an issue, then yes." She smiled.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"I don't know if you're well-aware, but my name is Zahra and I know that you're the girlfriend of Colby Lopez; and I hate to break it to you, sweetheart, but I'm pregnant and he's the father." She said with a rude tone.

I laughed, "You're kidding, right? Colby would never do something like that to me."

"You'd be surprised. A few months ago he took me over to the hotel and we had sex. I realized a few weeks afterwards that I was pregnant." She pulled out a positive pregnancy test.

"No, you're messing with me."

She giggled, "From the looks of it, it's like he wanted me the entire time and not someone like you."

I remained seated in my chair and took a moment to collect my emotions.

After I left the café and headed back home, I laid down in my bed and threw my blanket over my head. My pillow was drenched in nothing but tears after finding out that not only had Colby cheated on me, but he was going to be a father. He used to tell me that he wanted a family with me at the right time and now some woman is carrying his child. My phone was ringing repeatedly and I refused to take his calls and I didn't respond to his texts.

I guess I was truly wrong about Colby.

While I was sobbing, I heard my door opening downstairs and heard Colby's voice.

"Hey baby!" Colby said, entering the house.

I remained silent.

"Katherine. Where are you? Are you okay?"

He took a few steps into my bedroom and he quickly realized that I was in a depressed state.

"Baby. What's going on? You can talk to me."

"You know exactly what you did."

"What did I do?"

"Don't play dumb with me. How long was it going to take before telling me that you're going to be a father?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Some woman visited me at the café and said that you're the father and she's carrying your child. She said you took her to some hotel and fucked her."

"This has to be some kind of joke, Katherine, because I've never knocked up any woman."

I sat up from my bed and removed the blanket from my face with furrowed eyebrows.

"That's what they all say, Colby. I really loved you and I thought you were different than everyone else. It looks like I was sadly mistaken."

"Let me get this straight. You're going to believe somebody that we don't even know over your own boyfriend?"

"Look, Colby. I can't do this right now. You said you wanted a baby with me in the future..."

"And I still do, trust me. I love you. I didn't knock up another woman; I swear."

I paused.

"I need to be alone for awhile."

Colby looked down in defeat.

"Fine

"Fine. But just know this, I wouldn't do anything to sabotage our relationship like that. I love you and I wouldn't cheat on you after everything you've been through. If you're going to believe a random woman, so be it."

Colby then walked out of the house and drove away.

Colby
I couldn't believe the words that came out of Katherine's mouth. I was speechless because I would never knock up another woman. I decided on meeting up with Jon at the gym in hopes of getting my mind off of everything.

At the gym, I was sitting on a steel chair and using a small thing of weights to lift with one arm. I wasn't in the mood to do any CrossFit or my usual workout routine before heading back on the road in a couple of days.

"What crawled up your ass?" Jon asked.

"I didn't want to say anything, but I have a feeling that Katherine and I are officially broken up."

"No way. What happened?"

"She thinks I knocked up another woman because some stranger visited her over at the café and said that she was pregnant and I was the father of that child."

"Colbs, that's not you. You wouldn't cheat on her. Although, I remember that time we were at the bar and I tried to keep you away from that one woman with jet black hair. I didn't know her name but she kept flirting with you. After telling her that you weren't interested in her, I was struggling to see anything clearly and I blacked out right after because of the alcohol. Then after I was sober again, you woke me up. I don't know what happened after that, man."

Suddenly, it hit me. I had a flashback of the moment where Jon and I were over at the bar while I was away from my girlfriend due to being on the road for WWE. I was drunk after drinking a few beers. It was a blur, but I remember seeing some woman escorting me to the hotel that looked beaten up. I must've forced myself to forget about that specific moment because I was too invested on being with Katherine although we were talking and not completely in a relationship at the time. I still felt disgusted with myself over the past.

The last thing I could remember was when I seen her unzipping my jeans and I tried fighting it until my mind was completely fogged from the alcohol. There's no way this bitch is carrying my child. Then again, the woman I can remember looked like one of my ex-girlfriends and she seduced me while I was drunk. Oh no...

"Uh, Jon. I have to go."

"Alright buddy."

I quickly drove over to Katherine's house. I had a show the next day and I needed to tell her the entire story before anything else happened.
