Spending time with Colby was like a dream come true. I couldn't believe just a few months ago that I had little to no interest on wrestling but it brought me to someone who isn't anyone like Tony. It started to become dusk outside and Colby just finished getting his puppy Kevin to sleep as he walked me up to his bedroom in bridal style.

"Are you tired?" He asked.

"Kind of."

"We don't have to go to sleep right away babe." He paused, "Here, allow me to put on a movie for us to watch."

Colby insisted on putting on one of my favorite films to watch and we lied down on the bed together, taking in the moment of relaxation with him at my side.

"You know, I haven't felt this happy in a long time." Colby said.

"Really?"

He nodded.

"Because the last woman I was with put me through a lot in the past. But you, you're supportive towards me when it comes to my wrestling career and to be honest with you, Katherine, I'm thankful that Brianna brought you to that show. If we never met, I would've never met the woman of my dreams."

"Aww, Colby."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Colby and I leaned in for a kiss and I began to lay on his chest shortly after.

"Colby?"

"What's up?"

"This may be a little too soon, but I don't know if right now is the time to bring this up."

"Baby, you can tell me anything and I'll listen."

"Well, I was wondering in a few years if we could start a family."

"Really?" He said with the warmest smile on his face.

"Yeah. Not right now since it's too soon, but maybe later on in our lives we can. If we get married, that is."

"You know I'd love to marry you soon, Katherine. Not a day goes by that I don't think of that very special day where I kneel on one knee and I ask you to marry me. That's going to be the best day of my life; other than us getting married and starting a little family together."

"Colby, you don't understand how much this means to me."

"I believe that I do, sweetheart."

Colby looked into my eyes with passion. He pulled me closer into his arms and laid me on his chest, running his hand around my back and kissing the very top of my head.

"Katherine?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you for giving someone like me a chance. I know I'm never around as much due to my hectic schedule and because I wrestle for a living and that we aren't able to see each other a lot; but I promise that someday, I will make it up to you in the best way possible. I know you're starting your journey on becoming a wrestler just like me, but you're going to be amazing. I just know it."

"Don't apologize, Colby. I just want you to have a life outside of this relationship, like wrestling in the ring and hanging out with Jon and Joe."

He chuckled.

"I know I have that, but you're a huge part of my life." He smiled and pulled me into his embrace.

"Also, I'm happy that I'm about to start wrestling. I cannot believe that I used to hate this stuff in the past. Now here I am, on this journey with you."

I began to feel tired and my eyes began to droop. I could feel Colby pulling a blanket around us and fell asleep with his arms around me. I couldn't believe that this was the same man that I met backstage that one night with Brianna. How could a woman like me become so lucky with someone who is famous, but takes the time to spend time with me?

When morning approached, I heard a soft voice emerging from a distance.

"Katherine, wake up."

"Hmm?" I said, rubbing my eyes.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked.

"I did, thank you."

"Here, I made you some breakfast in bed. It's the least I could do for a beautiful woman such as yourself." Colby smiled.

"Aww, you shouldn't have!"

We shared a conversation while I was eating the breakfast that Colby prepared for me while I was asleep. I was such a lucky woman to have someone like him in my life. He really was nothing like Tony and this was the biggest blessing that I could ever receive in such a long time.

Colby and I spent the entire morning talking to his mother and playing with his puppy. Moments like these were the best when it came to me staying in Iowa for awhile to spend some quality time with Colby. He's the reason I've become madly in love with wrestling and I couldn't be anymore thankful for him.
