Colby and I were finally about to rest up for tomorrow. While Colby was lying in the bed next to me and fast asleep after a matter of minutes, I was unable to fall asleep due to overthinking. I was undoubtedly nervous about meeting the other women who were here way before me. I sat up in our bed and was in deep thought about how these women would treat me because I'm new to this entire industry and the biggest wrestling promotion worldwide.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" I said quietly to myself.
Colby overheard me talking to myself and he rolled over to the side to check up on me.
"Babe?" He groaned. "Is something wrong?"
"Kinda, I-"
He sat up and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me.
"Talk to me. What's going on?" He said in a soothing voice.
"Are the other women going to like me or are they going to treat me like Summer did towards us?"
"Nah, babe. I told you earlier that she's just jealous. One, because I fell for you and not for her. Two, because you're more beautiful than she'll ever compare."
"Thanks Colby. It feels like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders just now."
"Good. The other women here aren't rude and obnoxious like she was. You have absolutely nothing to worry about, beautiful."
I crawled back into bed and drifted off to sleep as Colby held me close to him in his embrace.
Morning - 8:53 AM
I woke up to my alarm, awaking Colby and I up from our slumber. I was nervous about meeting all of these new women today and I didn't know if I was going to make new friends; or make some new enemies.
"Katherine?" Colby said, stretching. "Are you ready for today?"
"Kind of. I'm not sure if I want to meet them today."
"Come on babe, I feel like you're going to make some new friends here."
"Alright." I sighed. "I guess I can give it a try."
The Arena
When we made it to the arena a few hours later, Colby and I seen everyone including Joe and Jon talking with the other wrestlers and I greeted them with a simple hello.
"Katherine, whats up?" Joe asked.
"Nothing much, I'm meeting the other women around here."
"That's good."
"Have you talked to any of the girls yet?" Jon asked.
"Well, Summer." I stopped as the boys cocked an eyebrow at me.
"Really?"
"She wasn't the nicest and told Colby that he could do much better."
Joe and Jon started to laugh.
"Katherine, she's just jealous of you and Colby. Don't take what she says personally, alright?" Jon said.
"Colby told me about that already. I hope nobody else is like her."
"The others are actually nice and not snooty." Joe said, smiling.
"Babe." Colby said, breaking his silence. "Ready to meet the girls?"
"Of course. I'll see you boys later!"
I walked away from them and went inside the women's locker-room to seeing many of the women from the main roster and a few that look like they were in NXT.
"Hi everyone." I said, nervously. "I'm Katherine."
"Hello! It's so nice to meet you!" A woman with long, brown hair who wore her hat backwards and wearing red lipstick approached me after brushing her hair.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Nikki Bella. I'm one half of the Bella twins."
"You have a twin sister that wrestles too?" I said in shock.
"Yeah! She's hanging out with her boyfriend for right now, but I heard about a newcomer arriving to meet the other girls and it's so nice to meet you!"
"It's nice to meet you too! You're actually one of the nicest girls I've met so far."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah! Yesterday, I bumped into Summer and she was stubborn towards Colby and I."
"I totally forgot that you and Colby were a couple. You both are so cute together! But about Summer, I wouldn't bother with her." She laughed, "Nobody really likes her anyways."
"Everyone says she's just looking for trouble, is that right?" I asked.
"You're right. I wouldn't pay her any attention because she feeds off of negativity and thrives to see others suffering. That's why nobody really likes her and that's why Brie and I keep our distance. But anyways, would you want to meet the rest of the women?"
"Sure, I'd love that!" I said with a smile.
Nikki and I walked around and over the course of an hour, I've already met other women like Rebecca who played as Becky Lynch, Mercedes who played as Sasha Banks, and many more. It turned out that the only woman I couldn't get along with was Summer Rae. I felt like I'm going to have more friends than enemies.
Maybe being a wrestler wasn't such a bad idea.
After awhile of hanging out and getting to know the girls, I returned back to Colby who was in the hallway of the arena and talking with Joe with his back against the wall.

"How are you gonna tell her, Colbs?"
"I don't know man, I-"
"Tell me what?"
"Oh, hey Katherine."
"You should tell her, Colby." Joe said, sternly.
"Well, my mother found out about us being a thing and she wanted us to come over to my house in Davenport to meet you."
"I guess we can, sure."
"Great, I'll talk to my mom about it shortly." Colby said, wrapping his arms around me and placing a kiss upon my lips. "I missed you, how was it?"
"It was amazing. I met Nikki and then I started to meet the other girls and they're all really nice!"
"That's incredible babe." He said, pulling me closer into his embrace. "I told you that not all of them were rude."
Colby's phone started to ring and he answered.
"Hello?" He said. "Mom! I'm able to come over to Davenport tomorrow to see you and Kevin. I have a free schedule for a couple of days."
He remained silent as he was listening to his mother speak to him on the phone.
"Yes mom, I'm alright. I cannot wait to see you tomorrow. Yes, I love you too."
After he hung up the phone, he looked at me with a smile.
"It's confirmed that I'm travelling over to Davenport in the morning."
"So, I'm finally meeting your mother?"
"Mhm. She's very accepting and I know she'll love you like a daughter."
"Trust me Katie, Colby's mother loves Jon and I like we're her own sons. She'll adore you."
"I'll trust you both on this one."
"We should get ready for the day. I want to get a few workouts ready before we travel to my house in the morning."
"Fine with me. Are you coming, Joe?"
"Nah, I can't." Joe declined.
"Why not?"
"I have to go back to Pensacola to see my wife and daughter along with my parents."
"Okay, we'll see you soon?" I asked.
"Definitely. I'll catch up with you two and Jon later."
An hour later, Colby and I drove over to the crossfit gym and I seen Colby doing handstands along with other intense workouts and I was shocked.
"You should do some CrossFit with me, babe!"
"Are you sure that I'm able to? It looks more intense than regular workouts."
"I've done CrossFit my whole life. I'll teach you how I do it." He smiled.
Colby spent over an hour helping me with CrossFit and personally, I loved this workout method better than the original workouts that I'd see everyone else doing.
After we finished our small workout session, we headed back to the hotel and prepared to travel to Davenport, Iowa. I couldn't believe I was already about to meet Colby's mother.
