Morning
I woke up to hearing my alarm going off and although I was exhausted from last night, I stretched my arms out and finished my morning routine. Before I knew it, my phone was going off and it was from Colby.
Upon answering the phone, he seemed happy within his tone of voice.
"Hey, beautiful. Are you ready for today?"
"Yeah. When are we meeting up?"
"In an hour. Wanna meet at the local coffee shop?"
"Sure. I'd love to!"
"Great! I'll see you there."
I hung up the phone and quickly got dressed into my black crop-top, black leggings, grey jacket, curled my hair, and done my makeup.
After an hour had passed, I drove to the coffee shop and seen Colby waiting outside for me with his hair tied back into a bun, wearing a navy blue shirt and a black jacket.
"Hey. I'm glad that you didn't chicken out on me." He laughed.
"Of course I wouldn't. Why would I?"
"Let's get you inside, you look like you're freezing."
Colby had a private reservation for the both of us and it felt comfortable and relaxing without anyone to bother us. I never knew coffee shops could sometimes have private reservations; given that he was a celebrity, it was understandable. However, I could finally get to know the man behind the character of Seth Rollins.
After we took a seat in our chairs, Colby looked at me with a warm smile on his face, "So, Katie. I remember last night that you said you weren't a fan of wrestling. Is that true?"
"To be honest with you, Colby, meeting you, Jon, and Joe changed my perspective about wrestling. It's interesting and seeing your character was incredible. You're a whole different person behind Seth Rollins. I love that, Colby."
"I'm glad that you do." He smiled at me as I took a small sip of coffee.
"There's something that I wanted to talk to you about, but it would be best if we were over at your house; if you don't mind."
"Sure. I'd love to invite you into my home!"
"Alright, let's go."
We both traveled over to my house and upon arrival, we sat down on the couch and turned on the television.
"How's life being a wrestler, Colby?" I asked.
"Frustrating. It's not the easiest job in the world. First, you have bosses in the WWE that are very strict with following scripts. Secondly, you have to make sure that you know what moves to perform on your opponents so you don't accidentally injure or kill them in the ring. Third, we have to follow on a healthy diet and exercise everyday and keep our bodies in perfect condition; let alone our busy and stressful schedules from driving in a car, flying on a plane, and even getting less hours of sleep. It really sucks, but the days off are worthwhile."
Unfortunately, I was right all along. They really are busy to be in relationships and have a personal life of their own unless they were retired or injured.
