Weeks had passed since Colby was over at my house. I would text him sometimes when he was free and not working. I would watch him wrestle every week and he always amazed me with what he could do. Even seeing Jon and Joe going out there and giving it their all even made me love wrestling more than ever.

It was Thursday and SmackDown was on the television. Brianna and I didn't have to work, so she came over to my house and she still believed that she was dreaming when she'd watch me look at the screen and watch all the performers wrestle in the ring.

"I'm still in shock that you're watching wrestling."

"It's not bad, but have you texted Jon since he gave you his phone number?"

"Not really. I don't want to be a bother. I'm just a fan and he probably flirts with every woman he comes in contact with."

"I wouldn't say that." I laughed.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I remember when you passed out in the backstage room about Jon calling you sweetheart. Joe came up to me and told me how Jon had taken an interest to you." I gave her a subtle smirk.

"Are you serious?" Brianna looked at me with widened eyes like a deer in the headlights.

"Yeah. I wouldn't lie to you, and you should try to send him a text some time. I text Colby all the time when he's not currently on the job. Jon's probably been dying to speak to you, but also felt the same as you."

"You know what? Maybe I will." She smiled at me.

She pulled out her phone and texted Jon with a huge smile on her face.

Out of nowhere, I asked, "Wanna go to Starbucks and pick up a cappuccino after the show ends?"

"Of course!"

We proceeded to watch the rest of SmackDown and the moment it went off the air, Brianna grabbed my wrist and ran with me into her car and shut the door.

Making our way into Starbucks, we ordered our small cappuccinos and then she started to squeal in front of everyone as their eyes wandered to her, making a scene.

"What happened?"

"Jon texted me back!"

"That's sweet. How's he doing?"

"Jon said that he wants to bring Colby over tomorrow to spend the night since they aren't working and that they would be in Los Angeles for the day."

"What about Joe?"

"He says that Joe cannot make it because he wants to spend time with his family back in Florida."

"That's cool."

"Aren't you excited to see Colby and Jon?"

"I am, but–"

She interrupted me. "But?"

I brushed it aside, "It's nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Of course I'm worried. Tell me!"

"Fine. I'm afraid of falling in love with Colby, alright?"

She gasped and had her hand folding over her face in complete shock.

"I didn't think you'd fall for another man, Katie. This isn't like you."

"Like you said to me the other night, you lose some to gain some, but I still refuse to get into another relationship. You remember why."

"I remember," She sighed. "You gotta put yourself out there, girl. You're beautiful and I feel like Colby feels something for you because you both constantly text each other when he isn't working at a house show or on television."

"I know. Even if something were to happen between Colby and I, it wouldn't last long because I'm terrible with relationships and I'm not letting history repeat itself with the last one like I had with Tony."

"Alright, Katie." She stopped talking and proceeded to finish her cappuccino before we headed back to my house.

Brianna heard her phone going off again and it was from Jon. She answered his call and put it on speaker.

"Hello, beautiful."

"Hi, Jon!" Brianna said, excitingly.

"Alright, so tomorrow we'll be over there but I'm a little lazy; so I have Colby buying all of us some snacks."

"Aren't you always lazy?" I said to Jon.

"Hey, I didn't ask for your sass, Katherine!"

I started laughing at him while he began to mock me.

"Ha-Ha-Ha. Very funny." He laughed. "I'm thrilled about tomorrow, but I have to get going so we'll see you girls in the morning."

He hung up and I seen Brianna giving me the biggest ear-to-ear smile on her face while staring at me.

"You're starting to creep me out with that face, Bri."

"I cannot believe this happening!"

"Me either. We better tidy up around my house before they arrive in the morning. Are you staying the night?" I asked.

"Of course I am, loser."

We started to clean around my place and made sure there was room for the snacks that Colby and Jon were bringing over. It'll be exciting to see them again after they left California for a few weeks to wrestle and perform at house shows.

When it came to me, I was excited about seeing Colby again. I loved his presence and remembering that kiss we shared awhile back brought a smile on my face. It came off as a shock to me that I was beginning to fall for him; yet, I had anxiety about what could happen and thinking the worst.

Tony really traumatized me to the point where I don't think relationships are my forte. Don't get me wrong, Colby's attractive and I love everything about him; especially his personality and love for coffee, but the mere thought of getting myself back out there and attempting another relationship sent shivers down my spine.

While we continued to tidy around the house, Brianna was playing some Drake on the speaker while we finished cleaning around the living room. I was nervous, but excited to reunite with Colby all over again.
