Colby sat up and looked over at me, awaiting my answer.

"Katherine." Colby said sternly, furrowing his eyebrows and gazing into my eyes.

"I don't know if what you said was true or not, but you said that you were in love with me."

After admitting what he said to me back at the bar, his eyes slightly began to widen. His face started becoming red and nervously scratching the back of his head.

"Okay, Katherine." He looked into my eyes. "It's true. I do love you, and I know you said how you never wanted a relationship because of that incident. I understand that you've went through a lot back then. But to be truthful, I'm nothing like your ex and I'd love to make you happy someday."

"I know you're not like him, Colby."

Colby then shied away and dropped his head down in defeat, "I...just hate it."

"Hate what?"

"That you're completely uninterested with relationships, Katherine." He sighed. "I understand that you've been through so much and I don't want to make you uncomfortable. It just pains me that you aren't looking for love anymore. But I hope that someday you'll give someone like me a chance to make it all better; because you deserve someone who will treat you like the queen that you are." He paused, pursing his lips.

"Colby." I paused.

"I'm sorry, Katherine. I hate that my drunken thoughts revealed my feelings towards you back at the bar." He interrupted with a frown and stared at his black Nike shoes on the floor, "I'm so stupid!"

"No, you're not. You aren't stupid for admitting your feelings to me, Colby."

"I am." Silence filled the room for a minute until he looked over at me. "Look, I'll be back later."

Colby stormed out of the bedroom after admitting his feelings towards me. Jon and Brianna seen him storming out of the house, leaving them with suspicion.

"I'll be back later, guys." Colby said in a monotone voice.

"Where the fuck are you going, man? It's pouring to rain outside." Jon asked.

"Look man, I need to get something from the store."

"Dude, you and I bought snacks last night before we came here. Remember?"

"I just remembered that I had forgotten something, alright? I'll be back later."

He left the house and walked out the door.

"What happened between you both upstairs?"

"It's a long story, Jon."

"Come on, we're your friends. What happened?" Jon asked again.

"Colby asked what happened when he was drunk, and I told him how he said he loved me back at the bar."

"Something else had to happen between you both after that." Brianna added.

"There was. Colby told me he wouldn't treat me miserably like my last relationship. How he wasn't that kind of guy. He wanted me to give him a chance, and then stormed out of my house when he remembered that I didn't really want a relationship."
