Joe and I walked around the arena to find Jon as he was inside of his locker-room and drinking a bottle of water, looking heavily exhausted in the face and drenched in sweat.
"You good, bro?" Joe said, opening the door to seeing a sweaty Jon.
"Yeah. I'm just taking a breather because that match was intense against the Wyatt boys earlier."
Joe laughed. "I somehow didn't feel exhausted after our tag-match against them earlier."
"That's because you're Joe."
"Possibly." Joe said, laughing again.
"Jon." I said, sternly.
"What's up, Colbs?" Jon said, adjusting himself on his chair.
"I have a surprise to tell you guys." I said.
"Like?"
"Hunter and Steph wanted Katherine to work for the WWE alongside me." I smiled.
"You're fucking with me, aren't you?"
"Nope. Go ask Hunter if you don't believe me."
"I believe you. I'm just curious as to why they want your girlfriend working with you all of a sudden."
"They said she wanted her to join us for a love angle between her and I. I'm assuming they want us to have a feud with Nick and Lana it seems."
"That must suck. Don't get me wrong man, Nick's a good dude but his girlfriend is-" Jon said, pausing.
"Is what?" I said, tilting my head in confusion while crossing my arms.
"Y'know, annoying?" Jon said.
"Right, right."
"So what's happening with Katie, man?" Joe asked, crossing his arms.
"They wanted her to take the flight tomorrow and to negotiate her contract with the company when she arrived."
"That sounds good." Jon said with a grin.
"I'm just excited to see her again. It's been so long without her."
"Chill out man, it's not like you've gone years without seeing her." Jon said, jokingly.
"Jon, don't talk to me like that. I know you miss Brianna, don't you?"
"Of course I do, why wouldn't I?" He said, blushing and furrowing his eyebrows.
"Alright, alright." Joe said, chuckling.
"We better get some rest for the night. I have to meet up with Katherine in the morning and escort her to Hunter and Steph's office so she can sign the contract."
"Alright, goodnight man." Joe and Jon said in sync as I picked up my luggage and drove back to the hotel to get some rest for the night.
Katherine I hurried and made my way into O'Charley's to seeing my boss, Dave, sitting inside of his office and doing his normal paperwork duties after the store had closed hours later.
"Katie, come in!" He said, smiling.
"Hey, Dave!"
"What brings you into my office lately?" Dave asked.
"Well, I needed to inform you that I recently got a call from the WWE and they wanted me to work at their company and to do this story-line angle with my boyfriend and that means I can no longer work here."
"Wow!" He said, wide-eyed. "First off, I understand how much you've grown to love wrestling ever since you went to that event almost a year ago and secondly, you have a boyfriend in the WWE?" Dave asked with his eyes widened once again after mentioning I had a boyfriend.
"Yes and I apologize that I have to quit O'Charley's, sir."
"Don't apologize! I'm not going to blow a fuse because you're having to switch jobs. You've been an excellent worker here for years and I'm proud to see how far you've come ever since the first day you walked through the door. I'm curious to know which wrestler you're in a relationship with."
"Seth Rollins." I said, blushing.
"Seriously? I heard he's incredible in the ring and very famous! He's actually one of my favorites."
"Oh really? And we met backstage when Brianna had those passes for us and he, along with her, are the reason I got into wrestling."
"Like I said Katie, I cannot wait to see what you do in WWE. Even if you're not wrestling in the future and you're doing interviews of the wrestlers or anything like that, you have my full support and if there's any time that you'd like to come back to O'Charley's, you're always welcomed back with opened arms."
"Thank you, Dave." I shook his hand. "I appreciate your support and we'll keep in touch!"
The Next Day - Colby
I woke up to the sun beaming in my face as I sat up in my bed, rubbing my eyes and scratching my beard, feeling groggy.
After getting my morning routine over with, I drove to the airport and watched as Katherine was getting off of the plane, dropping her luggage near my car and jumping into my arms.
"Colby, I missed you so much!" Katherine said, joyfully.
"I missed you too, babe."
I kept looking into her beautiful eyes that made me smile from ear-to-ear, putting her hands into mine as we shared a small kiss while we shared an embrace before having to drop her off at Hunter's office.
When we made it, she started to look nervous.
"Aren't you nervous in the slightest about joining the WWE?"
"Not really." She grinned. "As long as I have you, Jon and Joe, I should be perfectly fine!"
I chuckled while I carefully put her luggage into the back of my car and drove her to Hunter's office.
Making it to the building, I escorted Katherine into his office while I was going to put her luggage into our hotel room as they talked about the contract and what she was going to be doing in the WWE.
Katherine I'm so excited to make it into the WWE. I didn't expect to be inside of the same company as my boyfriend, but it felt amazing that I was going to be in a story-line with him.
I opened the door to seeing a man with no hair on his head with a small, trimmed beard with a beautiful woman sitting who dressed elegantly with long, brown hair behind a desk with papers scattered all over the desk. I assumed this was Hunter and Stephanie and I greeted them.

"Hello! I'm Katherine. Colby's girlfriend."
"Nice to meet you, Katherine! We're your bosses in the WWE and we have your contract right here for you to sign."
"Neat! Where do I sign?"
"Right here." Hunter pointed down at the dotted line underneath the contract's fine print.
Before I signed, I always read the fine print before inking my name onto a contract whether it was for a job or anything else.
After signing the dotted line, they both looked at me with a smile on their face while shaking my hand.
"It's nice doing business with you, Katherine!"
"Nice doing business with you too, Hunter!"
"Any questions about the WWE that you'd like to know about?"
"Honestly, yes. I have two more questions if that's fine with you both."
"Of course!" Stephanie smiled. "Fire away!"
"How come you both wanted me to join the WWE?" I asked.
"Like we said over the phone, it's for a story-line between you and Colby against another couple that we'll have to see will be the best fit for your feud."
"Any other reason in particular why I'm in the WWE?" I asked again.
"Have you ever thought of being a wrestler?" Hunter asked.
"Not really but now that you think of it, I think I'd benefit a lot out of it!"
"I can see you doing great things here. Do you want Colby to train you?"
"I'd love that and where do I go for training, sir?"
"The performance center back in Florida. Colby will help you learn the basics and before you know it, you'll be joining NXT."
"I'm sorry sir, what's NXT?"
"I'm glad you asked that question, Katherine." Hunter said, smiling. "NXT is a brand that I personally made in the WWE to give the talent here some development before making their way up to Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. You'll have to be trained before being able to compete in the ring against others like yourself but I can see you doing great things here in the WWE."
"What about my story-line with Colby?"
"You'll be doing the story-line along with training. However, you cannot let the WWE Universe find out that you're training to wrestle. We want to surprise our fans in the way that we can without someone spoiling it. You and Colby will train in the performance center and when we see your development, we'll let you into NXT to wrestle against the other women and someday have you compete for the WWE NXT Women's Championship. Sounds good?"
"I love the idea, Hunter. Again, thank you for this job offering!"
"Don't mention it, kid."
I was steps away from their door until I heard a voice emerge from behind me before my hand could touch the doorknob.
"Katherine, wait a second." Stephanie said.
"Yes, ma'am?"
"Welcome to the WWE."
"Thank you both! I'm going to get settled in and find Colby."
As I left the office, I went to find Colby and seen him driving back to the building to pick me up.
"How did it go?" Colby asked, planting a kiss on my lips as I stepped into the car and sat down.
"I'm officially an employee and I have some big news to tell you but I want you, Jon and Joe together when I tell the news."
"Sounds good to me, babe."
We drove over to the hotel and checked in as I realized my luggage was already in our room. I called up Joe and Jon to come over so I could tell them the big news that I was going to be training with Colby to become a wrestler and make my way into NXT.
