After that quick, sudden realization, I quickly drove back to Katherine's house. She wasn't taking my calls or responding to any of my text messages.

When I made it to her house, I pulled over the car and started calling her phone nonstop.

"Katherine. Please, pick up the phone." I said underneath my breath.

Declined.

"Babe..."

I pulled out from the gym's parking lot and began making the trip over to Katherine's house. Worst case scenario, she probably wrote me a note and dumped me like the last one did.

Thirty-Minutes Later

I arrived to her house and parked my car in her driveway. When I walked inside, I noticed that she had locked the door and I struggled to open it.

Thankfully, I had a spare key that she gave me a few weeks ago when our relationship started and unlocked the door. Before I knew it, I looked down and Katherine was lying on the floor.

"Babe?" I said, kneeling down.

She was unresponsive.

"Shit. I need to get you to the hospital baby."

Panicking, I called for help.

"Nine-one-one, what's your emergency?"

"My girlfriend." I said in between words, "She's lying on the floor and she's unconscious. Please, hurry."

I gave them the address and was beginning to panic. I've never seen Katherine in this state before. This wasn't like her at all. After the ambulance arrived shortly after, they went to check her out.

"I'm gonna need you to take a step back, sir." One of the paramedics said.

"Is she gonna be okay?"

"I don't know. We're gonna get her to the hospital as soon as possible and you can sit in the back with her."

"That's fine."

I went with my girlfriend into the ambulance and was worried about her health. Did she have any health issues that she's never told me about? I don't know. All that mattered to me was making sure that she was okay.

The Hospital

We checked her into a room and she was hooked to some IV sedatives and was asleep in the bed. I paced around the hallway of the hospital in freight. I didn't bother calling Joe or Jon about the situation. I felt like this was my fault but then again, I had a feeling that this could've been one of my ex-girlfriends causing trouble between us.

"Colby Lopez?" A doctor said, peeping his head out from the room door.

"Yeah? Is she okay?"

"Thankfully, yes. I'm afraid to be the barer of bad news; but from the looks of it, it seems that she had overdosed on some medicine that she's been taking for her anxiety."

"Overdosed?" I said, feeling my heart drop.

"Yes." He nodded, "If it wasn't for you calling for help in time, she would've died."

I fell to my knees and was taking in the doctors words. She overdosed because of me? I felt disgusted with myself and collected my thoughts before heading back into the room to check on Katherine.

I went back into the room to seeing my girlfriend laying down. I believe I knew the reason as to why she overdosed. She must have thought I cheated on her like Tony.

"Fuck. This is all my fault!"

I fell to my knees once again and started to feeling the tears welling up in my eyes.
