Zhan POV

I arrived in my office and placed my briefcase on the table, then put my jacket on the couch. I smiled as I saw a Starbucks coffee cup and a copy of today's newspaper; JiLi was too good to me, I'll have to consider giving him a raise. I sat down taking a sip of the delicious coffee and reading the newspaper, I reached the entertainment section and I normally skipped it, except Yibo and Xuan were on the front page.

There was a picture of the two of them chatting and another of them sipping drinks together. The last one was of them exiting together and Xuan opening the car door for him. I slightly shook my head, taking in a sharp breath

Xiao Hao Xuan was spotted escorting Yibo, wife of cousin Zhan Xiao out of the Corporate Gala event in Xiamen's Hilton Plaza Saturday night. Yibo had already arrived at the event when Xuan made an unexpected appearance. The two were seen spending quality time together before they headed out.

Xuan was said to have accompanied the world's most beautiful man back to the Conrad, which both of them were currently staying at. An inside source confirmed to seeing Xuan entering Yibo's suite and checking out of the hotel in the wee hours of the morning alone.

Yibo was in Xiamen without his billionaire hubby for a company retreat and Xuan was rumored to have followed him down from Macao. We just have to wonder if it was really a retreat or just a secret rendezvous...

I cramped up the paper in anger and threw it into the bin, knocking it over. Just then my door opened and Zhoucheng stepped in then froze. "Did you see this?" I asked. He glanced at the bin and grimaced "Yeah, I saw the publicity."

I stood up, shoving my hands in my pockets, "Xuan has a neck for pissing me off. He obviously didn't get the message when I warned him off Yibo the first time." I said irritably. Then I remembered the pictures, Yibo wasn't exactly trying to avoid him either "And he was obviously enjoying his company." I added bitterly

"Well, you of all people should know the lies the media can conjure up. Besides you're the one who hates him not Yibo. He was probably being polite, Xuan is your family." He said and I looked at him, knowing he was right.

"And him 'escorting' Yibo out?" I asked; I wasn't really expecting Cheng to give me all the answers Yibo has. But I needed him to talk some sense into me before I did something stupid.

"You're the one who said he's not into these functions. He probably got tired and hitching a ride with him was the best alternative." He said; I slightly smiled. He was good. "Look at you, perfectly pleading his case. I'm sure he'd appreciate the effort." I teased and he chuckled.

"Its not for Yibo. I'm trying to calm you down you moron." He said playfully "He's a good man, and he loves you. You're getting upset over nothing." He added more seriously. I sat back down, sighing, "I know." I said.

He sat on the armrest of the couch and started chuckling, I looked at him questioningly "I never thought I'd see the day you'd get so worked up over a man. None of us fully understand how much you love him, do we?" he asked and I flashed a sly smile "No." I said I think sometimes even Yibo didn't.

"Have you any idea how many women played the jealousy card just to get that reaction from you and failed?" he said and I eyed him "What are you talking about?" I asked, I never dated any of the women I kept company prior to Yibo; there was no room for games or tiffs.

"Case in point." He said with a smile then placed a file on my table "Here's that report you asked for." He added.

"Thanks." I said, not just for the report. He nodded then walked out. I took the file opening it and switching on my laptop, I was just cranky from missing Yibo. He's supposed to arrive at midday, and I was already dying to see him. I arrived home, parking my SLR in the garage.
