Jasper ran to me and grabbed my arm.

"I'm ok, just exhausted."

I stood and Jasper looked at me surprised.

"I didn't know I could do that either."

"Your gift is marvelous, and scary."

"I just wanted to protect you," I said pulling him back into a hug.

"I have a proposition for you," he spoke.

He backed away and I smiled. He kneeled down and my heart beat rang loudly in my chest. I smiled, this is the proposal I wanted.

"Ophelia Flores, despite our separation, I trust in you and I want you to be mine forever. Even when we're apart in the future, I want to know I'll be able to come back to you and you'll love me the same. Will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

I smiled and nodded aggressively. He put the ring on my finger and hugged me tightly he picked me up and spun me. He set me down and I kissed him passionately. We ran to the Cullen's house and when I got to the door Emmet stood there smiling.

"Welcome back," he said and put his hand out for me to grab.

I grabbed it and he pulled me into a chest bump. I smiled at his weird show of affection. I looked at the ring on my finger and the beautiful yellow gem being held by the gold band with little diamonds around it made my heart skip a beat. Edward and Bella walked down the stairs and when she saw me she ran and hugged me.

"I missed you," she said.

I smiled.

"I missed you too Bella."

Edward smiled, "You already did it Jasper?"

I smiled and Bella looked at me confused. I lifted my hand showing her the ring.

"Oh my god! It's beautiful."

Jasper smiled and moved his arm to my waist. I leaned into him missing the feeling of his touch.

"I was supposed to do this a little differently, but I couldn't wait."

Carlisle came down with Esme and they were smiling. Esme hugged me already knowing what he did.

"I'm so excited to be your mother-in-law."

"You're already a mother to me," I said smiling.

"Welcome to the family, legally," Carlisle joked.

Alice appeared on the stairs. She must've known he would do it the moment he saw me. She smiled and Rosalie came down too.

"Welcome back Ophelia," she spoke.

She had a bit of sourness when she said it. She must be angry for me leaving them and joining the Volturi.

"Have you told Aro you're leaving yet?" Rosalie asked.

I shook my head.

"We're going in a few. Jasper's going with me."

She nodded and stormed off.

"Ignore her," Emmet said going after her.

"We all need to rest up and hunt before the battle. Be back soon," Esme spoke.

I nodded and we ran off towards Voltura.

When we arrived in front of the building I tensed up. Jasper grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"You'll be ok, I'm here with you."

We walked in and went to the throne room. Aro sat with Caius and Marcus. I stopped in front of them and Looked at everyone in the room. Jane and Alec stood on the right she smiled knowing what was happening. Felix stood with Demetri. He didn't even look at me. I felt so bad. I used my power on him, he didn't deserve it. I found myself feeling guilty wanting to give him a hug, reconcile. Chelsea. I looked at Jasper when our eyes met I suddenly felt confident and in love. I smiled and squeezed Jasper's hand.

"Ophelia, why haven't you been in Voltura?" Aro asked.

"I regret to inform you that I will be rejoining the Cullen Coven. Due to personal affairs, I will be leaving the Volturi."

"You wish to leave us?" He asked looking mad.

I nodded.

"What personal affairs?" Caius asked.

I looked over to Felix and back to Aro.

"I must return to my family, my husband, and my friends."

"Husband?" Aro asked shocked.

"Jasper proposed to me," I spoke hating myself for revealing this to Felix.

Felix went to step forward and Aro put his hand out to stop him. Aro laughed out loud, the creepy way he did when something was awkward between others.

"How amusing. Felix proposes, you reject him, leave the Volturi. You go back to the Cullens and Jasper proposes and you accept. So this being the events, Felix is the reason you're leaving?"

He looked towards Felix.

"No, it was my own decision. I didn't ever really want to be apart of the Volturi, I just didn't want to be with the Cullen's."

"But you do now."

I nodded.

"The Volturi has no reason to let you leave," Caius spoke.

"But we have no rules against leaving," Marcus fought.

Aro smiled.

"Go ahead and go back. We hope one day you'll come to your senses, and join us once again, for eternity."

I smiled and we left. The moment we got out of the door I hugged Jasper tightly. He picked me up and I smiled to him.

"I'm free," I said and kissed him.

He smiled and we ran back towards Forks.

When we got back to the Cullens everyone was hunting except for the inseparable couple. We figured we'd give them some privacy and go hunting for the night. I ran through the woods and Jasper followed close behind. I stopped when I heard a mountain lion. I stalked it as it ran through the forest. I ran after it and eventually attacked it. I drained it and smiled to Jasper.

"That's my girl," he said in his cute accent.

I smiled and slapped his butt.

"That's your fiancé," I corrected.

"Yes, Mrs. Hale."

I smiled and he said he wanted to show me something.

"While you've been gone I picked up a hobby," he said mysteriously.

"Like what? Boxing? Fishing? Writing?"

"No, something bigger."

I smiled and he put his hands in front of my eyes. He led me down a brick path. I could tell it was hand made because of the slight different heights from the ground not being even. He stopped me and turned me a little.

"You're killing me with the suspense."
