I stood at the door of my mom's house. Jasper and squeezed my hand and I opened the door and my mother yelled out from the kitchen.
"In here!"
We walked to the kitchen and she smiled when she saw us.
"Hi Jasper, are you joining us for dinner?"
"No, unfortunately, I've got to get back soon."
"I actually wanted to tell you something."
She smiled and sat her book down.
"What is it?"
"Jasper and I are engaged."
Her face went from worried to happy in about two seconds flat. She stood up and hugged me.
"Oh thank God I thought you were pregnant."
I laughed.
"No, definitely not. I just... There's nobody else I want to spend my life with."
She pulled away and I grabbed Jasper's hand.
"I'm so happy for you."
She looked to Jasper and smiled.
"Thank you, for taking care of my baby. You better keep taking care of her, for the rest of your life."
"Even then," he spoke.
I smiled and he put his arm around my waist.

I stood at the back of the Cullen's house and looked at the decorations. I'd reigned Alice in a bit from the woodland fairy type wedding, she could use that on Bella. I wanted a more red and white theme. A white carpet down the isle with white chairs with ribbons. Bouquets of roses and petals on the ground. It was beautiful. A white alter with flowers tucked between the cracks. It was perfect. I was trying on the heels Alice found me. They were lace up boots, so they weren't that bad. They were a deep red color so they'd match perfect. I finished lacing them up and stood.
"They look absolutely gorgeous on you Ophelia."
Alice smiled widely. I walked a few steps in them easily and turned to look at Alice. She shot me a smile and clapped a little.
"They're perfect," she turned and picked up a box I hadn't noticed, "These just got in today."
I smiled and grabbed the box. I opened it to see a pair of long red velvet gloves. I touched them and looked at Alice in awe.
"What are you waiting for try them on!"
I pulled them on excitedly and looked at Alice happily. I quickly pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you, I love them."
"I know you don't need them anymore, but you said you were going to wear a pair that you already had to cover the scars. I just figured these would go perfectly with your boots."
"They're lovely."
I stretched my arms out and admired the elbow length gloves. They were silk lined and incredibly comfortable. I gently pulled them off and put them back in the box. I looked up and saw Jasper standing in our room. Well his current room, soon to be empty. I looked back down and took my boots off. I slipped my flats on and looked to Alice.
"Ok, go home, get lots of relaxation, and meet back here at 11."
I nodded and hugged Alice.
"See you tomorrow."
I went to my car parked in the driveway and got in. I drove back home and opened the door to an empty house. My mom had picked up an extra shift to avoid having any tomorrow. I went upstairs and grabbed a sheet mask from the bathroom. I put it on my face and laid on my bed. I put on the movie Ophelia and started watching it while relaxing. I was trying to calm myself down enough to get to rest some tonight, but I felt like I could run laps around the house. I took the mask off when I needed to and starting crocheting. I'd picked up the seemingly boring hobby while staying with the wolf tribe in Alaska.
After the movie ended I started a different movie and continued crocheting. I thought about Luka. I'd sent them an invitation, but never got a response. Maybe he'd show up. I wondered how Dakota and Wesley were doing. I'm sure Wesley was still getting in trouble and Dakota was surely getting him out of said trouble. I missed them a lot, they were good people. My window opened and I looked over to see Jasper standing in front of it.
"What're you thinking about?"
I looked at him and he held my face softly.
"Do you think they'll come?"
"Luka and his brothers?"
I nodded.
"I'm sure they wish the best for us," he said kissing me softly.
I smiled and pulled away, "Checking for cold feet?"
He shook his head, "Just wondering why you were... discontent."
"I'm not discontent. I'm incredibly content," I said pausing my movie. He smiled and I kissed him. I pulled the hair at the nape of his neck softly. He bit my lip and I pulled him closer to me. I heard Emmet and Edward howling outside and pulled away. Emmet jumped up to the window and I laughed.
"You're going to break my mom's house."
"It's party time," he said then jumped down.
"Send him down or we'll come get him," Edward said loud enough for us to hear.
I smiled and kissed him softly, "Will there be any strippers at this bachelor party?"
He laughed a little, "Just a couple bears, maybe some mountain lions."
I smirked and slapped his butt, "Go on."
He smiled and jumped out of my window. I watched as the three ran off and the familiar head of honey gold hair disappeared.
I spent the night and morning switching through movies and crocheting. I crocheted a blanket for my mom. She'd gotten home around midnight, so she was still asleep by 10:30 I took some ribbon i had and tied around the rolled up blanket. I sat it by her door and ran to the Cullen's. I wouldn't need the car since I'd be leaving for our honeymoon with him tonight. I got to the Cullen's after a quick hunt and announced out loud I was here before walking in. Alice came to the door and we quickly ran up to her room to get ready. I assumed Jasper was in ours. The announcement was a small, but effective measure to make sure we didn't see each other. We didn't need more unlucky situations, we'd been through enough.
I sat in the chair in front of Alice's vanity as she got me ready. She did my makeup as Rosalie did my hair. She'd offered to do my hair today when we first announced. Edward always held a grudge for Rosalie not accepting Bella immediately, but I understood why. If I were her I wouldn't want to be within 100 miles of Bella with how much she talked about becoming a vampire. Rosalie has her reasons, she doesn't hate her. I let my mind wander as they made me look perfect.
