"I had Morgellons disease, when I was human."

"I don't think I've ever heard of it."

"You probably havent."

"They look like scratches," he commented.

I looked down.

"Morgellons disease makes you see things under skin, for me it was bugs, it makes you feel itchy, without an actual reason."

"Oh, I can't even imagine that."

"It was horrible, but it's gone now. No itch at all."

"And the scars stayed even after you turned?"

I nodded.

"You're strong."

"Thank you. I didn't realize that vampires have gifts, I will never use mine because I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I went through."

"You can make people see it?"

I nodded.

"I will never stoop as low as to use it against someone though."

"You could've used it on Wesley."

"But I wouldn't."

"Thank you, for giving him grace. I know you could've easily gotten away from him if you didn't."

"I didn't want to hurt him. I kicked him in the nose, and I'm sorry for that."

"He deserved worse. Dakota's taking care of it right now."

"I never said thank you, for helping me."

"It's nothing, he was out of line."

"Considering who I am, it means a lot. I know you guys don't like us. I get it. So thank you."

"I do like you, you're a really nice person. It's just hundreds of years of bad blood, the wolf mind, it's complicated."

"I'm sure I can keep up."

He came and sat next to me in the snow.

"Us wolves, we have a shared consciousness. I can feel everything everyone in my tribe feels. I can feel the imprint bond between Hannah and Poe. I can feel the responsibility Dakota feels for taking care of us. I can feel the sadness and anger Wesley feels just seeing you, we all can, but we also know he's still wrong for attacking you. Sometimes it's hard to know what's my feelings, and what's other people's though I must admit."

"That's intense... and probably loud."

He chuckled and nodded.

"Have you ever imprinted on someone?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"I want to, but I know that it's kind of like giving up your entire world to make someone else happy. I don't want to be like some mindless zombie running around thinking my entire life is this one person."

I nodded.

"I didn't really get a choice in that either."

He looked to me.

"You were recently turned."

I nodded, "I found Jasper when I moved away from home, he protected me from a predator. I fell in love with him. A friend of mine and a Cullen fell in love too. Another vampire wanted to hunt her for sport. He attacked both of us, it wasn't too late for her, but it was for me. When they found me the venom had already reached my heart. Jasper hated that he couldn't save me. I woke up and they told everyone I was dead. They didn't have a choice, none of us did."
