Luka asked me to dance and I agreed. We stood in the middle of the floor and I hugged him.

"I missed you guys," I said.

"Yeah, we missed you too. Although you kind of just fell off the face of the Earth for a while."

"Yeah sorry, a lot happened. I wish I could've visited, but it's complicated. At least things worked out."

He nodded and spun me. He pulled me back to him and whispered in my ear.

"You're always welcome at the den. I've got to get going back."

"Oh, ok. I'll see you."

He nodded and hugged me before leaving.

After the night's events unfolded it was finally time for Jasper and I to drive to wherever he was taking me. I assumed it was Amsterdam like we talked about, but he told me it was a secret. He drove us to a jet and we flew over the ocean. When we finally landed we got in a car with a blue license plate and Jasper drove. I held his hand as he drove. Soon enough we stopped at a secluded little cottage by a river. I smiled widely, we were definitely in the Netherlands. There was bright green grass and pretty flowers in the front. I got out of the car and looked at the little cottage. I heard Jasper get out of the car and I smiled. Suddenly I was lifted off the ground bridal style by Jasper. I giggled and he carried me inside.

The inside was very light and mostly wood. There were hanging lights and a little table for meals. Of course we wouldn't be using it for that. Jasper carried me to the bedroom and set me down on the ground softly. I looked around at the beautiful decorations. I turned around to see a glass door out to a garden with a hammock by the river. I felt an arm wrap around my waist and felt a soft kiss on my neck. I felt my body get pulled tightly against his and I smiled. I turned to see his infatuated face.

I stood in our room, in our home, unpacking thing's from my mother's house. Jasper went out hunting and I got some alone time. I looked at the copy of Pride and Prejudice. I thought of Felix and felt a pang of guilt. I never meant to hurt him, it just had to happen. I hope he finds someone who loves him as much as he thought he loved me. We sent a wedding invitation to the Volturi, they of course didn't come, but I knew Felix saw it. I knew it would hurt him just a little bit more. I never meant to use my gift on him, I just wanted to protect Jasper. I felt an arm wrap around my waist and my guilt fade into contentment.

"You know sometimes it's ok to feel bad," I said softly, setting the book down.

"I know, but you shouldn't feel guilty about it. He'll find someone else."

"I know, I just... I never meant to hurt him. I used him and left him to rot."

The guilt overpowered Jasper's feigned emotion and he turned me to look at him.

"You did what you had to."

"I can't keep excusing myself, I've just got to feel bad about it and then forget about it."

He let go and helped me unpack my books. I sat down on our bed when we were done and looked at Jasper. He looked back at me and stood in front of me.

"How did you forgive me?"

He sat down next me and put my hand in his.

"I didn't because I never got angry. I knew why you did it, although it was a rash decisions, your emotions took over and you made a quick decision. You felt betrayed and closed in so you made an opening for yourself to get out. I don't blame you for it. I'm just glad you came back."

I let my head rest on his shoulder.

"Me too, I was worried I wouldn't for a while. I can't even imagine who I'd be if I stayed with Felix."

"Let's not focus on it. You're not still with him and you're a good person."

I nodded and he pulled me up.

"How about we go visit Bella and Edward? Their wedding is coming up soon. I'm sure Bella needs someone to reign in Alice."

I smiled and nodded. We ran off through the forest to the Cullen house. I smiled when I landed on Alice's patio and she was standing waiting for me. She hugged me immediately.

"I need so much help with Bella's wedding, she's letting me go all out. I've been planning for a week, every little detail."

She pulled me over to an area of her room with a huge vision board. I looked at the pictures she had of the wedding. It was a bit too much for me, and by a bit I mean it was way too much for me, but Bella didn't care. As long as Edward was there she could get through it happily. I admired and feared their relationship. Bella fell into a deep depression after we left, I knew she would. I thought about Jasper. I couldn't imagine myself finding anybody else.

Being immortal had it's downside, perpetually repeating what everyone only has to do once. If I was mortal at least I could speed up time with animals, pass times, maybe even drugs. Eventually I'd slip into my last nap and I wouldn't have to live without him anymore. But I wasn't a mortal, I'd live until someone killed me or I killed myself. I'd probably become some adrenaline junkie like Bella and eventually I'd steer too close to a flame and combust. I looked over to Alice who had realized she'd lost me.

"Sorry I think it's beautiful. It's too much for me, but I think it'll be great for Bella and Edward. It matches their love for each other perfectly."

Alice hugged me and pulled away to flash a smile.

"That's exactly what I'm going for."

The air beside me moved and Jasper put his arm around my shoulder.

"Edward thinks she's going overboard."

"Well good thing Edward isn't the one I'm trying to impress," Alice said loud enough for him to hear.

I chuckled and sat down with Jasper.
