Chapter 3: Third Trial, Mission Complete

Athena's POV

The mirror pull me into the dream again. This time, I'm in the river scene with Ariel and Eric in a boat. Eric is rolling the wooden paddles. *It's a romantic evening* I thought. I look at the beautiful full moon shining on three of us. Eric saw me sitting beside Ariel but gave me a hint of smile. He can see me? As he paddle the boat, I heard a screeching bird noise behind him just to see Scuttle. Our reaction wasn't worth listening because of the noise he's making in front of us. From the corner of my eye, Sebastian is there before he dove in. My mind click. He's gonna perform 'Kiss the Girl' from the movie playing in my mind. While the music is playing in the background, Sebastian kept his cool and collective mind. When he got closer to Eric's ear, he thought he heard a voice or something. Both of us shrug.

The duo try to kiss but Eric continue rolling the boat as I watch the scene carefully. Out of the blue, five frogs are now on the left paddle, singing 'Kiss the Girl'. To see the exact scene from the movie feels real. A water tree slowly came into view. He ask us. "At least tell me your names," Eric said. Looking at my surroundings, I spot Sebastian with the animals nearby. He saw me and point at the man to tell him our name. "Her name is Ariel and I'm Athena," I respond. Eric nod to my response. It seems he can hear my voice as well. "That's a pretty name for both of you." The boat slowly head to the tree as two water crane help out by pulling the tree vines to let us in. The boat starts to spin gracefully, fireflies comes in, and fishes squirting water around the boat. He and Ariel were about to kiss, our boat suddenly knocked over. We fell in the water. Ariel, Eric, and I sat up, hair drench in water. The boat flipped over upside down.

I saw a quick glance at the eels swimming away from the scene, peaking their head out of the water at a good distant. The duo chuckle after completing their mission. Eric gets up first. "Let me help you," Eric raise his hand. He help Ariel first before helping me. Our clothes are soaked. I bow, thanking him. When I straighten myself, the duo disappear from view and the scene is black. I look around. Where did they go?

"That girl is tougher than I thought." I heard a familiar voice. It's Ursula!! The scene took me to Ursula's lair. My body is floating at the ceiling of the lair. "I'll show you what my magic is really capable of!!" She began using her cauldron to turn herself into a human. I gasp in shock. Just like in the film, the sea witch is going to insert herself into this mess. I swam away in order to not get spotted by the sea witch. As I'm swimming into a dark tunnel, it doesn't feel like I'm underwater. My feet touch solid floor and walk down the dark tunnel. At the opposite end, there's light lighting the pathway. I walk to the light and I'm on the staircase in Prince Eric's castle which is a bit of a shocker. A familiar voice echo below the staircase. I peak over the rail to see Grimsby reading a script. Remembering this scene, Prince Eric is brainwash by the sea witch's shell necklace and the two are getting married. From the corner of my eye, I witness Ariel gasp in shock and turn away in tears. Worried for her, I climb up the stairs to follow her but change to the boat scene.

The wedding takes place on this boat. People in their formal gowns lining up as music playing in the background. I hurried myself to run up the stairs to see Eric and 'Vanessa' walking down the aisle all the way to the alter. As the pope talks, I heard a familiar screeching noise and look up to see Scuttle flying in. Chaos quickly ensued as guest run for their lives by sea mammals and birds. Scuttle peck the sea shell necklace from Vanessa. The two pull against each other until Max arrive and bit her butt. She scream in pain, thus the necklace broke off and shatters upon impact right on Ariel's feet. The spell finally broke. The voice return to her. Eric quickly realize the actual voice belongs to Ariel. He came up to her with a big smile. The two were about to kiss but it was too late and Ariel change back into her mermaid form.

We heard Ursula laughs in the background and change back to her regular form. I ran to Ariel and Eric in a panic. As Ursula catches up, I finally reach to the duo and help Ariel. Unfortunately, the witch got to us and snatch us up. "So long, little boy," she smile. She took us straight into the ocean as Eric couldn't do anything. As we get deeper and deeper into the sea, the twin eels held Ariel and Ursula held me. Once we arrive to a particular spot, King Triton appear and stop the sea witch. He points his triton. "Ursula, enough!! Release my daughter and the girl," he command. The sea witch laughs maliciously at the king. She smile,"The two belongs to me now. But I'll gladly make a trade." I watch her pull a contract and show it in front of him. The king's eyes widen in shock and horror.
