Chapter 3: Field Trip Time!!

Athena's POV

I squint my eyes before opening them. Beam of light blind me for a moment until it clear up. I'm looking at the glass ceiling to see clear, blue water instead of black water. Milo's head appeared in the shot. A hint of grin plastered on his face. "You're finally awake, Little Princess," Milo said. His sudden appearance startled me, a small squeak escape from my lip. Milo chuckle by my reaction. I furrow my brows. I literally woke up and Milo scaring me like that just to make a embarrassing noise is all I need today. The 'cushion' feels hard for some odd reason though. Wondering what I'm resting on, my eyes shift to see Camus into view. He still gave a cold stare but a bit softer once he saw me woke up. I just notice he's sitting on the floor and realize one thing in mind. Am I resting on his lap? When did he decide to rest my head on his lap? Didn't want to create another scene, I help myself sitting upright.

My friends sighed in relief. "Whew, you're alive once again from the dead," Ace said. My eyebrow twitch. I would use my leftover energy to bash him like crazy but too damn lazy to do so. A familiar clamping claw noise is heard and turn to the source to see Scorpio resting on my lap. It bounce twice in joy and relief just like the others. I smile and pet its body. "How's Azul?," I ask. They look at the direction where Jade and Floyd were with unconscious Azul. Jade calmly calling him to wake up. The dorm leader suddenly woke up in shock. Floyd smile to see him. "Oh, he's awake," Floyd said. Jade kneel in a sitting position before Azul. "Azul, how many fingers am I holding?" Jade show eight fingers. The dorm leader adjust his vision to read the numbers on his fingers. "Ei... ght?" Azul reply in a confused state. He's still in daze. The older eel brother nod the correct answer and lower his hands. "Okay. You appear to still be out of it, but I'm so relieved. We were able to stop your blot induced rampage."

Leona rest against the glass wall, crossing his arms together. "...Jeez, pain in the neck," Leona respond. Ruggie shook his head and elbow his dorm leader. He lean in. "Leona, you're in no position to talk," he whisper loudly. The lion shrugs, didn't seem to care at all. Jade help him sit upright. "What... did I do?" After sitting up, his vice dorm leader told him what happen. "You used so much that you overblotted. Do you remember?" Azul blink his eyes, wondering what he meant. He didn't remember the incident once being blinded by darkness and hatred. That happened to Leona and Riddle when they Overblot. After we knock them back to their senses, they didn't remember at all. Floyd joined to fill him the scene. " 'Give me your strength~~' you were crying while running around sucking up people's magic. It was hard to look at, super uncool," Floyd said. The way he voice 'Give me your strength~~' as Azul sounds funny. At the same time, it's better not tell him what his Overblot form looks like. He would go berserk and cause havoc in Octavinelle.

I scoop up Scorpio and getting up to my feet. Milo assist me as Scorpio crawl on my arm, leap onto my head, and chill. My friends also got up to their feet. We head over to where the remaining group were.

"I-I... went on a rampage... unbelievable..." Azul curl himself up. Ruggie sigh, shuffling his hair. "Anyone would be pissed if something they'd been working on for so long go erased in front of them. If someone went and cracked open my piggybank I'd never forgive them." The hyena is on the same page as him. In my mind, I kinda agree. Working so hard to get to this point and crushed by someone who's trying to stop you is devastating; although, some gone too far. Besides that, doing evil deeds had to stop at some point from further destruction and harming others. Grim furrow his brows. "But you gotta knock it off with shady business, y'know. Shape up," Grim said. Jack look down at Grim. "And you should 'shape up' and stop using test notes created by someone else!!," Jack pointed out. The raccoon flinch and look at the wolf, frowning. Guess Grim didn't seem to care at all. I shook my head and look at the raccoon.

"Jack does had a point there. Using someone's notes to study isn't the brightest idea but studying together with classmates or friends is totally fine. In the end, nobody else could have put those notes together so the students can get higher points in the finals which is a shocker." I told Grim but compliment in the end. Scorpio clamp its claws, agreeing my response. Azul heard what I said with a 'eh?' response out of the blue. Ace and Deuce agree. "You're right. Azul's test notes got me a 90 even though I only spent one night pouring over them," Ace said. Deuce nod, joining in on the conversation. "Yeah. It was a great secret weapon," Deuce agree. Jack also agree with the duo idiotic brain cells. "The Headmaster told us you made that by going through the past 100 years of test questions. I can't say I approve of what you did but... your determination is crazy impressive."
