"I never stopped loving you either."

After I said that, I felt an intense rush of anxiety go through my system.

Liv.

I sat up and looked around, feeling my heart begin to race.

"Are you okay?" Demi asked me. I looked at them and shook my head, and immediately went to look for my clothes.

"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my GOD." I said while dressing myself. Demi looked at me confused and sat up. "What's wrong?" They asked and I turned to them, with a horrified expression on my face.

"Liv. I just cheated. Oh my god. I can't believe I just did this.." I said and I felt myself begin to panic.

Demi put their hand on my back, and the other on my leg.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. I'm sorry." They said and I shook my head, and put my clothes back on.

"No, Demi. None of this is okay!! I cheated! Oh my god. Oh my god what am I gonna do? I pick her up TOMORROW." I said and searched for my phone.

It was 2 in the morning. People were still down stairs, and there was a message from liv.

Liv: hope you're having fun and being safe! I'm so excited to see you. I love you.

I put my head in my hands and I felt myself begin to cry. "What did I do?" I said. Demi rubbed my back slightly.

"I'm sorry." Was all they could say. I shook my head. "I should've pulled away. I shouldn't have ..." I said but I trailed off.

"We can forget it happened." Demi said and I looked up at them.

"How could I forget it happened? I have to tell her! And what's worse about this whole thing is that everything just happened felt so right." I said, with a sob escaping my lips.

"It did?" Demi asked.

I didn't respond, I just shook my head at myself. "I can't believe I did this. We shouldn't have done this."

"Did you mean what you said?" Demi asked. I looked up at them, tears now streaming down my face. "What?" I asked.

"About how you never stopped loving me too. Was that true?" They asked.

"Demi i can't have this conversation right now." I said and began to collect my things but Demi stopped me.

"No, we need to. Did you mean what you said?" Demi asked again, this time with more plea.

I sighed to myself and nodded my head. "Yeah. I did, okay? Of course I did.." I said. Demi nodded their head.

"Now what?" They asked.

"Demi I don't know! I JUST cheated on my girlfriend. This is going to absolutely destroy her! I hate hurting people. Oh my god I can't believe I did this." I said and began to cry harder. Demi wrapped their arms around me, and at first I was going to pull away, but I didn't have the energy to. I just sobbed in their arms.

Demi ran their fingers through my hair and I felt them kiss my head lightly.

"It's gonna be okay." They whispered. But I shook my head. "It's not." I said.

"Right now, you're right. It won't be okay. It's gonna be messy, and it's going to be a lot and someone is going to get hurt. And I know how much you hate that but what happened, happened. But you need to tell her. Maybe you guys can even work it out. Please don't make the same mistake that I did with you." They said, and I heard their voice tremble slightly at the end. I looked up at them and I've never seen them so hurt.
