Squirrels pov-

I smiled as I hummed along to my playlist on my phone, brushing my teeth quickly. I got dressed in a red sweater, and black skinny jeans. I slipped on my belt and my brown boots. I then skipped over to my dresser, and picked up my red bandana, quickly slipping it around my neck.

I checked myself out in the mirror, making sure I looked presentable. The shirt made my curves stick out and the pants accented my hips. I smiled as I set my glasses on. I fluffed up my hair a bit, as it was still messy. Once I was done, I grabbed my phone and plugged in my headphones, putting the buds in my ears.

I skipped downstairs, jumping three steps at a time. I grabbed my bag and got into the car, quickly plugging my phone in the aux and pulling out my driveway. I sighed happily.

Today was my first day at school! Well, as a teacher that is. I'm a substitute, I've been substituting for almost three years now. It's been awhile since I've gotten the chance to though, as the teachers in this town are always at school.

I can respect that, but it'd be nice to see the school and take over for a while. I've always loved teaching kids, it was so nice to have the feeling of preparing people for their future. Who knows, some of them could be celebrities in the future! I giggled at the thought.

'Well if you love teaching so much, then why don't you just become a teacher?' you may ask. Well, it's not that simple. You have to study, and go to school for it. Yeah that seems easy, but it's harder than you think! You have to have straight a's, you need to have a diploma, and you have to have a college degree.

I had none of that. Growing up on a farm, it was hard to have all that luxury. I taught myself by books from the local library, and even then they still weren't enough! I sighed as I remember all the past hard ship's.

My dream was to become a teacher, and I had nothing to start my dream. So, my sister would sneak me some text books from her highschool, and I would learn from that. Eventually, once I was aloud to attend school, I studied my heart out. I was the smartest kid in class, the whole school if you will.

I pulled into the school parking lot and turned off the car. The Administrator back at home, said I was good enough to be just a sub, unless a school took me in as theirs. But until then, I'm just a fill in. I looked up to the big building and gasped at the sight. It was HUGE! It was the biggest school I've ever been to!

I just moved into this town, and I've been waiting for an opportunity to sub in it. I was used to small towns and poor towns. But since I was rated five star, this school wanted to have me. I was grateful, yes, but....I've never been in a rich folk school, so I was kinda nervous.

I sucked in a deep breath before opening the car door and stepping out. I grabbed my suitcase and pulled it out, along with my long tail. Oh yeah, did I tell you everyone here is a hybrid of some sort? Yeah, wether it be insects, mammals, birds, wizards, lizards, dragons, demons, angel's, anything really.

Me? I'm a squirrel. Yeah, pretty much bottom of the food chain, but I embrace it. I'm proud to be a squirrel! Anyways, I walked along the side of the building and watch as crowds of teenagers run by and around the place. Some actually throwing spells at eachother. I winced as I saw a kid throw a fireball at another. Well, this is gonna get interesting real quick.

I walk down the halls, looking for the office. I'm getting some stares, but I'm sure that's because they've never seen me before. Just as I was about to give up, I seen big bold letters on a single door. Indicating that it's the office. I sigh in relief as I head over to the door. I push it open and see a woman with dark skin. She had pink angel wings and purple horns. Cool, a mixed hybrid.
