Johns pov-

It was time. Obviously sooner than I had anticipated, but it was gonna come out sooner or later. As you already know, I've had a crush on Jaren for a while, but since he started hanging out with us, my crush has grown stronger. So much to the point that it's increased to love.

I watched as Jaren sat across from me, talking about, who knows what. The way he moved his hands to accentuate his words, and the way his mismatched eyes sparkled in the sun, it was all the same beauty I've been seeing for the past five days. And if I'm being real honest, I would give everything to see it everyday for the rest of my life.

"What do you think Jhon?" He asked, turning his gaze to me. I smiled and hummed.

"Huh?" I asked. Jaren laughed and rolled his eyes.

"I asked what you think?" He said again. I sat up straight and rubbed my eyes, acting as if I was too tired to hear anything.

"Think about what?" I asked. Jaren sighed and patted my head.

"Your a slow one, aren't you." He said, more of a statement than a question. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Just because I'm slow, doesn't mean I'm not smart." I started with my finger up. Anthony snorted and averted his eyes.

"I think that's the meaning of slow, ding bat." He said. I stuck my tounge out at him, making them laugh.

"Anyways, I'll see you two tomorrow after school, I gotta run." Anthony said, getting up from the bench. I waved him goodbye before slinging my back pack over my shoulder and getting up with Jaren.

"Oh! Before I forget! Smitt, you gonna ask?" Anthony called. I looked over to smii7y and saw him nodding with a big smile on his face.

"Good! Bye guy's!" Anthony said one last time, before turning around and heading off.

"What was that all about?" I asked, turning to smii7y. He shook his head and waved his hand.

"Eh, nothing to worry about." He said. I narrowed my eyes before grunting and shrugging.

"So, what are you doing today?" He asked, starting up a conversation. I shrugged and took a hit of my vape.

"Well, I was just planning on sitting around all day, but if you have something in mind, I can join." I offered. He smiled up at me and nodded.

"I was actually thinking of taking you somewhere special!" He said exitedley. I grinned and glanced down at him, blowing out my smoke.

"Special eh? Like where, the new bakery?" I guessed. He smiled at me and blinked a few times before nodding. I laughed.

"How'd you guess?!" He asked surprised. I chuckled and slipped my vape back into my pocket.

"Well, we live in a big place, but even so, there's no a lot of places to go that we haven't before. A new bakery is bound to get curious customers, and by the fact that it's been open for two days only, I'm sure you haven't been there before, and you're assuming that I haven't either. So you intend to take me there and introduce me to the delicious treats they have, just hoping to God that they're good so that you don't embarrass yourself for taking me to a shit place. Am I wrong?" I asked.

He stopped in his tracks and gave me a shocked look, his jaw dropped and his brows furrowed. I chuckled and lifted my hand to push his mouth closed.

"Called it." I said continuing to walk while laughing. He huffed and pulled on my arm, to get me to stop again.

"How did you know?!" He shouted in bewilderment. I shrugged.

"Just a guess." I responded. He gave me an unamused look and flipped me off. I laughed.

"Guess you aren't that slow." He admitted, smiling up at me. I chuckled and gave him a smug look.

"Exactly. Eat your own words!" I teased. He giggled and patted my shoulder as we continued to walk.

"But there's just one thing that you still haven't figured out." He said snickering. I laughed and gestured for him to continue.

"Try me bitch." I bet him. He hummed and turned to face me.

"Well, if you choose to lose, then so be it." He said confidently. I scoffed

"Have at me." I said. He smiled and then reached his hands up, resting them on my shoulders. I frowned at him as he did so, but still having a smile on, never the less. He stood up on his tippy toes, puting himself at my level. He then closed his eyes, and slowly moved his face closer. I froze as he got near, me being able to smell his cologne.

He stoped just short of a kiss, his lips hovering over mine. He then opened his eyes half way, looking directly into mine. I felt my heart beat faster as I looked into his red eye, then switching to his blue one. His face was flushed, but still held some confidence as he looked at me. I felt a small tug on my lips, knowing damn well that if I smiled, he would know that I hadn't figure out his feelings for me. Which, I didn't. I had no clue!

"You weren't as much of a walk in the park as I thought you were." I said, admittedly. He laughed softly and shook his head.

"Yup, I'm a thousand peice puzzle." He said laughing. I chuckled and closed the gap between us. The kiss lasted for more than I intended. I wanted to let him know that I had kissed him because I felt something for him, not that I just wanted his body. But the way his soft ones met my rough ones felt too surreal. I didn't want to back up, or break for air.

I wanted this to last as long as possible. But like I said before, we do need air. I sighed as we parted. The only nice thing about ending the kiss, was the fact that I could get to see his cute face again.

"Did you see that one coming?" He asked finally. I stood there looking into his eyes for a few seconds before smiling and shaking my head.

"Never have I even thought this would happen." I admitted. He laughed and bonked his head against mine.

"Well, how about that bakery?" He asked. I laughed and leaned back, grabbing his hands as we continued to walk.

"Why not."
