Third pov-

It had all started before they moved in together. For years the guys had been messing with eachother. Wether it be in video games, to stupid text messages, they always found a kick out of stupid jokes and games with eachother.

After they all decided it was best to live under the same roof, it only escalated even further.

It went from simple jokes, to simple pranks. The misplacement of someone's keys. The sudden mishap of flour in someone's blow drier.

It had gone on for a two years. Small tricks here and there throughout their days.

That was until Evan decided to take it up a notch, turning the harmless pranks into a full out prank war.

His first move had been setting mouse traps all over the hallway floors, refusing to aid his roommates out of their rooms when they woke up in the morning.

The next biggest prank had been from Jon. He had replaced the milk jugs with yogurt, earning disgusted shouts from his friends only for them to turn into hums of annoyance when they actually tasted the white goop.

And like that, their war had begun.

It was never anything too much. Never anything that couldn't be undone. Nothing expensive was ever in harm's way, nothing valuable or sentimental being used for a few laughs and such.

It was always just dumb harmless pranks that were mildly aggravating or straight up annoying. Even a victim of a prank would find it funny at times and laughed with the culprit who arranged it.

Some of the guys were targeted each time, and sometimes the pranks were just for those who came across it.

It was totally unpredictable.

None of the guys had any routine with their pranks. If anything, they pulled these tricks when they felt like it.

Simply if they had been irritated with another, or sometimes just because of pure boredom.

It had stayed the same for two more years in their time of living together, and no one had complained about it.

Frankly, they were satisfied with their ways of living and whished it stayed that way.

However, a certain Irishman didn't.

He had been quite bored of how the algorithm had been going, and wanted to raise the bar a bit.

To risk something for a change.

He was just simply tired of the repetitive pranks and wanted to spice things up a little.
