Evan's pov-

I walked happily as I sipped on my slushy, the small shards of ice making my throat numb. Me and the guys had gone to the carnival. It was supposed to be in town for a week, and we had already missed five days of it. Work and and such, has had us busy so we decided to enjoy the last two days of it together.

Everyone was laughing and having such a good time. Well, that's what it looked like anyways. Jon's been distant the whole time. I've been watching him ever since we first got here, because he was so calm and quiet. He's usually so loud and excited for anything that we do as a group, and I'm worried for him.

I thought he was just tired or something from all the work, and that he would go back to his usual obnoxious self as time went on. But it didn't. If anything, he got even worse. He barely spoke the whole time, and his only social interaction was a few nods and hums in response if anyone asked him anything.

He was in the back of the group, so I slowed down to be next to him. He was sipping on his own slushy, when I nudged his shoulder. He flinched and looked up at me, his blue eyes widening in surprise for a split second.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked, lowering my voice as to not worry the guys. Jon gave me a small smile and shrugged.

"Yeah I'm fine." He said, going back to sipping his drink. I snorted and rolled my eyes, sticking one of my hands in my pocket.

"Bullshit. You've been quiet all day." I said, raising a brow at him. He chuckled and shook his head.

"You caught me." He said laughing. I felt a smile tug on my lips as I heard him laugh for the first time today.

"So, what's the problem?" I asked, taking another sip from my straw. He looked down and sighed.

"I dunno, I just-...I'm bored." He said simply. The awnser caught me off guard.

"You're...bored?" I asked, only getting more confused by the response. Jon laughed and shook his head.

"I know it sounds weird but I am. Not with you guys, this is great! I'm just bored with life, and I've been thinking about it so much that it's tooken up my time, and now it's taking up yours. I'm sorry Evan." He said, looking up and giving me an apologetic look. I frowned at him and shook my head.

"No, no! If anything, I'm glad you told me. I was worried all day." I said, trying to reassure him. Though, I'm sure I made it even worse, by the look he gave me.

"What?! All day!? I'm so sorry Ev, this has just been so hard on me and now it's effecting you guys. I know I should be grateful for my life, but it's just so bland and I don't know if I can see myself doing anything else in my life besides my daily schedule." He admitted, running a hand through his hair. I sighed and nodded.
