Tyler's pov-

It was Christmas Eve, a wonderful day you may presume? No. It wasn't. Not for me anyways. I had tried to book a plane to visit my parents, but none were available because of the damn weather. I had flew to Las Angeles a week ago, to visit Evan for a bit. Catch up, maybe even spend some time together, since we never seen eachother in person that much.

But since the weather wants to be a bitch, I'm stuck here.

"So how long did you say it'll be till they open the airports back up?" Evan asked, handing me a cup of coffee. I sighed and took a sip.

"A week and a half. Meaning I'll miss new years with them too." I said, irritated at the mention on my family. I did contact them, and tell them my situation, apologizing to them numberous amounts of times. They understood, and said it was all fine, 'we always have next year' they said. I grumbled and slouched in my chair.

"I'm sorry Tyler. I can stay here with you if you want?" Evan offered. I sighed and shook my head.

"No it's fine Evan. Go see your family. I'll be fine here." I said, giving him a small smile. Since I didn't have a place to stay here in l.a., Evan had offered his house to me while he was gone. Of course I did protest a bit, but he insisted.

"Are you sure you'll be fine here all by yourself?" Evan asked, zipping up his jacket. I smiled and nodded.

"Yes Evan, I'm fine. Go see your family before you get caught in the same situation I'm in." I said rolling my eyes. He sighed and nodded.

"Oh, but if you do need someone to hang out with, try David. He couldn't make it to see his family as well. His address is on the fridge if you want it." He said, gesturing to the kitchen.

"Oh and Tyler?" He called, opening the door and stepping out. I hummed and looked up at him.

"At least try to have a good Christmas?" He said, arching a brow at me, sending a motherly vibe. He spends way too much time with Brock. I sighed and rolled my eyes, but smiling to show I understood. And just like that, Evan was gone. The house empty and quiet, except my slow breathing and the tiny sips I took of the hot caffeine.

I huffed as I got up, walking to the kitchen. I didn't want to get up, because I didn't have the energy to, but Evan forgot to make breakfast and I'm hungry. I set down my cup of coffee on the counter and opened the fridge.

I scanned through the organized foods, looking for something simple. I sighed when there wasn't much, and closed it to check to freezer. As I set my hand on the handle, I saw a small sticky note with numbers scribbled across, in neat handwriting. I squinted at the words and saw the name 'David' above it.
