Nogla's pov-

I swallowed nervously as the doctor stepped in, flipping through the pages on his clipboard before smiling up at me.

"Okay, ye don't have any problems with anything that I can read 'ere. Ye might have heart cancer, but that's okay. Uh, but I do suggest ye see a professional, if it keeps happening, alright?" He announced. I blinked in confusion before sighing in relief, letting out a big breath I didn't know I was holding. Heart cancer? Yeah right.

"So I can leave now?" I asked, perking up. He chuckled and nodded, pulling his gloves off.

"You're a free man now." He said, giving me a nod. I bounced up from the bed and sprung out of the room, skipping the whole way out to the car.

"So, are ye okay?" Aindreas asked, pulling the car in reverse. I hummed in response as I pulled my buckle on.

"M' fine. He said I should see a professional if it keeps gettin' worse. Suggested I might have heart cancer though." I said, laughing at the last part before stealing one of his lollipops that he keeps in his glove compartment. He scoffed and rolled his eyes, ripping down the road.

"Professional my ass. I'm tellin' ya Daithi, t'ose damn doctors don't know what they're doin'." He said, shaking his head in disbelief. I chuckled and rolled my eyes, sticking the candy into my mouth. Aindreas always thought that doctors were lying peices of shit.

Not that I blame him though. When our mother was twenty, she was having horrible chest pains. The doctors had told her that she couldn't get pregnant, and that she had brain cancer. Only for three years later, for her to get pregnant -with triplets- and for the doctor's to find out that she was all in good health.

It was big news to the two of our parents, that when we were born, they actually dropped me. So much for a perfectly safe birth. I laughed at the thought.

"Is your stomach still hurtin'?" He asked, glancing over to me. I hummed as I sucked on my lollipop, rubbing my stomach as it twisted in discomfort.

"A bit, yeah." I admitted. He sighed before taking out his phone.

"Y'know what? How about Katie? Ye can visit her in America, and she can do a real check up on ye." He said, already pulling up her contact. I sighed and rolled my eyes. Even if I tried to stop him, he'd insist anyways. He's very stubborn, especially when it comes to our health.

"Hey Kat? Yeah, I'm gonna send Daithi ta American and I was wonderin' if ye could do some check ups on em'? His stomach 'as been hurtin' fer a week now and the doctors haven't done shiet ta help em'." He said quickly, keeping his eyes on the road. I huffed and leaned against the window, watching as we past the many green fields.

I could hear Katie's muffled voice on the other end, not quite making out the words. Her and Aindreas seemed to have a conversation that lasted almost ten minutes until he hung up, pulling into my driveway.
