"You got this."
"I don't got this."

"Evan, will you shut up!" I hissed sharply, quickly looking away from any eyes darting our way. I sighed heavily, running a hand over my neck anxiously.
"Man, you're overthinking it. It'll be fine. You have a great resume." Evan said excitedly, gesturing to the papers in my hands. I quickly dropped them into my lap, gulping nervously at the fact that if I had clutched the sheets any harder, they'd surely crease. And though I highly doubt that anyone would care about it, I still wanted to hand in straight papers.
A resume is a document created and used by a person to present their background, skills, and accomplishments. Resumes can be used for a variety of reasons, but most often they are used to secure new employment. A typical resume contains a summary of relevant job experience and education. And for me, I only had so very few. Not impressive at all.
"Ye don't understand, Ev. Look around us. I'm clearly not up for this job." I mumbled, pointedly glancing around at all the females in the waiting room.
Evan had had this job for a good two years now. It was an office job for clothing. His job was to receive calls and send up emails to the big boss when other companies reached out for cross deals or wanting of partnership. He wasn't the only one. There was a good handful of workers that did the same as him. But that didn't mean his job wasn't small. In fact, Evan's job was important in this company. He got paid the big bucks.
