I wake to the sound of my alarm clock. It's actually woken me up this time.

I try to turn it off but it won't stop beeping at me. So instead I grab it and pull it out of the plug socket.

I check my phone quickly and see it's Monday, my first day back at school. I sit up in my bed and take a second to rub the sleep from my eyes.

Thats when it hits me.

Last night.

The guy.
The party.

What was he even doing here? I don't get it. It was stupid of me. Letting a complete stranger into my house. What was I thinking.

Never. Happening. Again.

That's when my phone rings.

Incoming call from max

'Hey girlllll' she says.

'Heyyy.'

'You ready for school?'

And just like that my mind is bought back to reality again. I have to go back to school. Where everyone knows me. Or should I say- where everyone knows what happened to me. It's safe to say that today is going to be one of the toughest days ever.

'Yeah on my way soon.'

And 20 mins later I am already out the door and walking to school.

I reach the school gates at 9am, just on time and then I feel them. Everyone's eyes, on me. I daren't look around but I know they are looking. I try to step forward but I can't. And with all my strength I make my way over to max.

But instead of greeting me, she says 'hey you okay? You look pale.'

'Hey yeah just n-nervous I guess.' I speak quietly.

She grabs my hand and leads me inside 'I'm with you okay! We got this. Plus if anyone even says anything mean to you, I will rain hell on them girllll.'

That gets a laugh out of me. 'Thank you Max.'

We enter to where the lockers are and there are more people than I could possibly ever count.

And as soon as we walk a few steps forward, everyone's eyes turn to look at me.

'Nothing to see here guys, now please politely turn the fuck back around.' Max shouts down the hallway and people do as she says.
