Hope grabs her keys out of her coat pocket. Josie stops her.

"Oh no Ms.Mikaleson, we are walking to the park, so put those back." Hope was about to argue, but was stopped as Josie yanked her forward and continues on with their journey.

Josie realized halfway there, that their conjoined hands are still connected. She blushes. They continue to the park, making small conversation along the way.

When they make it, Josie let's go of Hope's hand, already missing the comforting warmth.

She finds a empty park bench, in front of a small pond. She takes a seat and pats a space next to her, waiting on hope to sit next to her. She does.

Josie starts opening the food basket, she grabs the water bottles, and the fruit bowls as well.

"Didn't you say you were bringing something?" Josie asked as she grabs the plastic forks out of the basket.

"Yes, you just reminded me." Hope gives her a cheeky smile. She snaps her fingers and a bottle of white wine and two wine glasses appear in her hands.

Josie rolls her eyes and scoffs. "Show off." Hope shrugs her shoulders, laughs and sets both things down to help Josie.

They are enjoying their food in a comforting silence, until Hope breaks it. "So your sister seems lovely." She says in a teasing tone.

Josie rolls her eyes. "She's definitely something," she tosses a strawberry in her mouth, "and not subtle at all." She whispers. Hope catches it anyway.

"I know your really good at painting, I can't wait to see your art." Josie tries to change the subject.

Hope decides to tease Josie. She can't help it, Josie makes it so easy and she loves how red the brunette gets.

She grabs the wine and pours her and Josie a glass. "And you told me you like to sing," she hands Josie the glass and picks up her own. Josie nods bashfully agreeing. Hope raises her glass, "I can't wait to make you hit a couple high notes." She says, and then brings the glass to her lips.

Josies face reddens immediately and heat rushed to her ears and neck. She crosses her legs in an attempt to stop her hormones from getting to her. 'No Jo, she's just teasing you again.' She takes a shaky exhale and brings the glass to her lips. Her hands start to shake as she does so.

Hope smiles as she drinks from her glass. Loving the reaction.

Josie chooses to bypass the latest comment from the older girl. "So I was wondering, and if you don't feel comfortable telling me that's fine..." she looks up to read the emotion on the other girls face. Hope is giving her a look of curiosity. "but I remember how you said, your past relationships didn't go so well? can I know why?" She finishes.

She can't read the girls face now, she starts regretting opening her mouth in the first place. She's about to apologize to her for being nosey, until Hope clears her throat. She finishes her drink and then sets it down. "okay, so my exes right?" she sighs.

"You don't have to tell me, no pressure or anything." Josie grabs her hand and loves how it fits in hers perfectly, to give her comfort.

Hope smiles lovingly at the brunettes actions. "It's fine we're going to have the ex talk eventually. They weren't all bad." She starts."Some of them were actually caring, at least that's what they seemed like at first, but as time went on they, mainly the last one would get really clingy. He wouldn't give me space,he complained about how I would spend more time with my family than him,and would also pressure me into taking the company quickly even though I was no where near ready to run it." She paused looking at the brunette. Josie nods, letting her know she's listening.
