Chapter 42

"If he isn't taken care of, you're going to have to clean his insides off of the floor." She hears a familiar voice say.

"Hey dad" Hope interrupts. She smiles widely looking at her father.

Klaus turns away from the guy to face his daughter. His face immediately shows adoration."Ah my littlest wolf is finally here." He goes up to hug her and she happily hugs back.

He pulls away and turns to Josie. "And the lovely Josette." She smiles in return holding her hand out.

He grabs it and leans into her ear, "Or should I say my future daughter-in-law." He whispers.

Josie blushes lightly, "I heard that." Hope says, shaking her head at her dad's failed attempt of secrecy.

He turns to her, "Well it's about time you settle down love." He says with a half smirk. He nods towards Josie, "Josette seems like a great suitor, don't think I haven't noticed you smiling a lot more."

Hope gives him a look, "Dad! Stopp." She says, feeling slightly embarrassed.

Josie giggles softly at her girlfriend. "It's nice to see you again Klaus."

He turns back to Josie and smiles, "Have they picked up your bags?"

"Not yet, we came right up here." Hope says.

He turns to the forgotten brown haired boy standing by his study. He walks up to him and puts his arm on his shoulder, "Be a good lad and put these lovely ladies bags into the third room down the hall."

He looks over to Hope and smirks, she gives him a confused look and raises an eyebrow in question. He then looks Josie up and down, that's when Hope almost flips her shit. Josie immediately gets uncomfortable and stands closer to her girlfriend.

"No problem they're hot." He says.

Hope growls lowly and was about to remove his head from his shoulders but Josie grabs her hand to stop her.

Luckily, her father beats her to it. He grabs the man by his neck and pushes him against the wall. "Mind your tongue, I'd hate to rip it out of your mouth."

He then looks back at Hope, "I'm sorry sweetheart." He turns his attention back to the young man. "You aren't the brightest one in the bunch, see you insult my daughter right in front of me." The man looks at Klaus with fear and almost soils his pants.

Josie watches all of this go down, but she makes sure Hope doesn't do anything rash. Don't get her wrong, she didn't like the way he was looking at her girlfriend either. She was really close to whispering a fire spell under her breath but stopped herself.

She is not surprised to see the man quiver in fear among the infamous Hybrid. He's pretty dumb to try something like that in front of Hope's father.

"If you ever think about disrespecting my daughter again, I'll find your family and personally deliver your heart as a nice little gift in a box." He says before letting go of the man. He brushes his shoulders off before he speaks again, "Now go do what you were asked and I advise you keep your eyes to yourself before my daughter removes them from their sockets." He smiles, stepping back and putting his hands behind his back.
