"Dad!" Hope says excitedly and engulfs her father into a hug.
"Don't I get a hug?"
Hope turns to the source of the voice. "Of course mom." She brings her into a hug and both parents squeeze her into a tight embrace.
Josie smiles warmly at the sight.
"Well don't be rude love introduce us to this young lady." Her father says.
"Oh right." Hope says before moving back to Josie's side. "Mom, Dad, this is my girlfriend Josie."
Josie can't help but smile, she loves the way it sounds from Hope's lips. It's still surprising to her.
"It's a pleasure Josie." Her father says and reaches for her hand, she gladly accepts.
While she shakes his hand, she gets a good look at him, he has light brown hair, he's wearing a red shirt with grey on the sleeves, two buttons are unbuttoned covered with an olive leather jacket, and black pants.
"Oh no the pleasure is mine." She replies as she shakes his hand gently.
"The names Klaus." He gives her a side smile.
"I know, it's nice to finally meet you, I've heard a lot about you." She responds, trying to take Hope's advice keeping eye contact and doing her best to sound confident even though she can feel her palms start to sweat.
"All good things I Hope." He glances at his daughter before returning his gaze to the brunette.
"You can say that." She says in a jokingly manner. She's never heard anything good about Klaus Mikaleson, a lot of vivid stories mainly, unless they were coming from Hope, who would always say how she was his little princess in his big kingdom.
He scrunches up his eyebrows as he looks at her. A beat of silence passes and Josie can feel her heart pounding out of her ears. She holds his gaze trying to read his emotions.
All of sudden he chuckles lightly and turns to Hope. "She's funny, I think I like her." He says.
Josie sighs mentally relieved. "It's nice to meet you Josie." Her mother says.
Josie takes this time to look at her mother as well.
'She is gorgeous.' Is her first thought.
She has beautiful dark brown hair, she's wearing a black top covered by an unzipped black coat, and ripped black jeans.
'Well no wonder Hope's hot. Her parents are very good looking.'
Josie gives her a warm smile before holding out her hand. Her mom looks at her hand and grabs her arm bringing her into a hug. Josie is caught off guard but she simply reciprocates the hug.
Her mom pulls away, "I'm Hayley. Hope mentioned you were beautiful."
Hope glares at her, her eyes dancing between her and the brunette.
