Hope smiles seeing Josie so happy. She remembers Josie telling her that she gets most of her looks from her bio mom. Which she can see now, Lizzie and their mother can be twins.

"Well I can see who's the favorite parent." A man that Hope assumes is their father speaks up.

They pull away from their mother and walk over to him, giving him a hug just as big. "That's not true daddy." Lizzie says as they pull away.

"You guys are both our favorites." Josie adds.

"Well? Girls don't be rude. Introduce us." The blonde says.

Lizzie quickly walks over to the table pulling Mg up. "Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend Mg."

He reaches for Caroline's hand and she gladly accepts it. Shaking his hand softly while he smiles at her. She finds his smile contagious and returns it happily.

"Nice to meet you Mg." She looks him over, "You are looking handsome." She says.

"You as well Mrs.Saltzman?" He says. He mentally facepalms hisself, already feeling extremely nervous.

"Forbes-Salvatore." She corrects and chuckles afterwards. "Please call me Caroline."

He nods in response before being greeted with Alaric's hand. He grabs it firmly and tries to ignore the look the man is giving him. His expression is cold and Mg finds himself feeling a bit uncomfortable under his gaze.

"Okay daddy, your going to shake his hand off." Lizzie says pulling Mg's hand away from her father's.

"He seems like a strong guy." Alaric says. Caroline rolls her eyes at Alaric's antics.

"It's nice to meet you Mr.Saltzman" Mg says.

"Dr. Saltzman" he corrects.

"Right." Mg mumbles feeling a little uneasy, Lizzie rolls her eyes and pulls him back to their seats.

Josie walks over to Hope, who was watching that whole scene go down. Josie grabs her hand leading her to her parents.

"Mom, Dad, this my girlfriend Hope." She says excitedly.

Hope smiles at her before she turns to Alaric. She reaches her hand out for him to shake which he complies with.

"Mikaleson. Hope Mikaleson." She says as she continues to shake the man's hand. She feels him tense up and he tries to squeeze her hand but she doesn't let him, instead she turns the hand shake into a more firm one.

After a while, he pulls away, "Nice to meet you Hope." He says in a fake tone.

She can tell Josie's father will be difficult but she has never backed down from a challenge. "It's nice to meet you as well Dr. Saltzman." Her voice remaining calm and secure.

She then turns her attention to the Blonde. "Are you sure you and Lizzie aren't the twins in the family?" She asks.

Caroline chuckles, "I hear that all the time." She said offering the girl her hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Caroline." Hope says happily, as she shakes the woman's hand gently.

"Alright let's take our seats so we can eat." Alaric chimes in. He walks over to the table taking one of the empty seats.

Hope removes her hand from Caroline's and takes a step closer making sure only she can hear her, even though she knows the woman is a vampire.

"My father told me to tell you that you can always talk to him." She whispers.
