Chapter 40 🔞

Well that episode pissed me off so here's an update. I hope y'all comments bring my mood up 😌

(Next morning)

Hope wakes up to some noise. She looks over to see a still sound asleep brunette. She smiles and kisses her girlfriend on the cheek.

The loud noise hits her ears again, this time she recognizes that someone is knocking on her front door. She groans before getting out of bed, looking at the time before she grabs her robe and wraps it around herself making her way downstairs.

'I swear if this is Ethan at 7 in the morning...'

She hears more knocking and speeds up her walking. She finally makes it to the door and opens it.

Seeing a slightly older man and a woman next to him that she assumes is his partner, standing outside her door.

"Hi. Can I help you?" She asks politely.

Even though the constant knocking woke her up abruptly she isn't going to let anything ruin her morning.

"You might be able to," The man says, he takes a glance at the woman beside him who gives him a short glare.

Hope notices and raises and eyebrow waiting on the man to continue.

He clears his throat, "Um we are looking for someone named Hope?" He asks unsurely.

Hope gives him a confused look, she looks between the two before answering, "Speaking." She says simply.

The man bounces on his toes and looks everywhere but at Hope."Well we heard someone screaming that name last night and my wife couldn't go to sleep."

Hope's eyes widen as she vividly remembers that she didn't put up a silencing spell. She mentally face palms herself too because her girlfriend was really loud last night, not that she minds but Josie definitely might.

"They heard me!?" She hears a voice come from behind her.

Hope looks over her shoulder seeing a very red faced Josie. She grimaces, having a feeling the girl might not be happy about this.

(2 minutes earlier)

Josie stirs, not feeling the weight of her girlfriend's body on her, she sits up. As soon as she does, she feels a dull ache in her stomach that makes her reach for it in a way to try and find some comfort.

'Oh fuck, I didn't think I'd be this sore.' She thinks to herself.

She sighs lowly and moves her legs over the side of the bed, the blanket falls off of her naked body.

She reaches for her phone to look at the time, 7:00am. 'What is Hope doing up this early?' Her thoughts are cut off as she hears voices down stairs, and she notices the room door is open.

She immediately stands up which was a mistake as she feels her legs start to tremble and she falls back onto the bed quickly.

'Damnit she wasn't kidding.'
