Chapter 21

Hope peaks through the door to see Josie flicking through channels on her television and smiles.

She walks in and closes the door getting the brunettes attention. Who beams at seeing the auburnette. "It took you long enough."

"My apologies ma'am." Hope says as she takes a seat on the edge of the bed.

Josie bites her bottom lip nervously and says, "Do you maybe want to stay the night?" She looks into the girls eyes.

Hope puts her finger on her chin stroking it slowly deep in thought. " I don't know....I gotta go take care of Ethan." She says.

Josie gives her one of her best pouts and holds eye contact with the girl.

"Oh stop. I can't say no to you when you give me that face." Hope playfully rolls her eyes. "I'll just text Marcel and have him grab Ethan."Josie smiles in victory and scoots under her blankets. She pats the empty space on the bed.

"You want me in the bed with you?" Hope asks.

"Of course, your not sleeping on the couch, I want you close to me, I'd feel better if you were."

"Alright."Hope says convinced. She starts taking off her shoes and unbuttoning her jacket.

Josie's eyes are glued to her every move. Hope glances at her and Josie blushes at being caught staring.

Hope just smiles,"Can I borrow a pair of sleep shorts?" She asks.

"Oh, yes." Josie stands up quickly and walks over to her drawer and takes out two pairs of shorts, and a large t-shirt.

She hands a pair to Hope and walks towards her bathroom. "I'll change in here." She announces.

She closes the door, stripping quickly deciding she will take a shower in the morning, and puts on the shorts, and the shirt that goes to her knees quickly.

She opens the door and walks out, she looks up to see Hope barely pulling up her shorts showing a lot of skin Josie hasn't seen before.

She blushes intensely as she continues to watch. Hope lets down her hair, auburn locs bounce freely on her shoulders and unbuttons two of the buttons on her white dress shirt to get a little bit more comfortable.

Hope turns around with a smug smile. "Did you enjoy the show?"

Josie clears her throat and makes way to her bed and gets under the blankets quickly, ignoring her flushed face and Hopes question.

Hope chuckles as she joins her in bed and snuggles up behind the brunette, she pecks her cheek and whispers, "I'll take your silence as a yes."

Josie hides her face in the blanket. She feels Hope drape her arm around her side pulling her close. She sighs happily and scoots back into her embrace. She leans up and turns off her bedside lamp.

"Thank you baby." She whispers.

Hope hums and spoons the younger girl, "Your welcome, Goodnight."

"Goodnight Hope." She says and she drifts to sleep.
