Cedric's POV

"Anyone else wanna challenge me?!" I ask smirking at all the big bad warriors that can't handle a fight with a 15 year old.

"That's enough, nipote." Unk says chuckling as he enters the group of men. "I need to talk with you. Go have a shower and meet me in my office." He tells me before walking back into the pack house.

"Saved by the Alpha...Guess you guys get a break. See ya tomorrow!" I grin as I run home to wash off the sweat and dirt from training.

"What's up Unk?" I ask as I enter his office. I get a glare for not knocking but ignore it as I take a seat and prop my feet on his desk tipping my chair onto its back legs.

"Boy don't make me put you in your place!" Unk growls knocking my feet off the desk causing my chair to return to all fours. I sigh. Yea I need to cool it.

"Sorry Unk... you know I get all riled up after training. Did you see me today? I took on two against one and beat them!" I cheer getting excited.

"You did good but you need to watch the cockyness... now I need you to be serious for this CC. It's important." He says and I sit up straight and nod.

"You know I don't have a son... when you showed up obviously being an Alpha wolf I knew I never would." He sighs and I give him a quizzical look.

"What does it have to do with me?" I ask.

"If an Alpha produces no heir typically the closest relative of the next generation becomes Alpha. Once I knew you were an Aloha it told me all I needed to know." He says.

"Sorry Unk." I respond and he smiles at me.

"It will be alright. There is actually a little girl. 10 years old who's parents recently passed. I think Milly has taken to her... you may still get a cousin, nipote."

"What's her name?" I ask loving the smile on his face. I love seeing my family happy.

"Kelly... but that's not why I called you here. I want you to start training. When you turn 18 you will automatically become Alpha and I want you to be ready." He tells me and I nod.

"So how exactly does that happen?" I ask. I know from school when the heir turns 18 they take over but they didn't tell us how it works.

"On your 18th birthday, whenever that is, you will be forced to shift. Your wolf will be bigger and stronger. He will let out a howl that will sever my Alpha connection to the pack and connect them with you. Every member of a pack knows who their Alpha is at a glance Even if they've never met him. It is a bond that can only be severed in death or when the heir takes over. Everyone will know that I am no longer Alpha. It's obvious to every pack member." He explains.

"So I have no choice... at 18 I take over." I mumble trying to take it all in. I thought maybe Unk could hold off for a couple years but I guess not.

"I'll still be around but the power shift will be obvious to everyone in the pack. You can't hide an Alpha. The aura around them is a dead give away and like I said every member of the pack will feel it when you take over. Even if you flew to the north pole and they can't hear your howl the power will still shift to you." He explains.

"We'll then... I guess you need to teach me Obi-Wan." I chuckle and Unk joins me.

One Year Later

Alpha Raymond POV

"One more push Luna!" The doctor says as I hold my mate's hand.

It's a miracle honestly. We were told for years that we couldn't have pups. After countless miscarriages we stopped trying. We couldn't take the heart break of losing another baby.

"Almost there Milly. You got this." I tell her as I kiss her forehead. A moment later I hear the cries of my baby girl.

"Do you want to cut the cord Alpha?" The doctor asks and I walk over to the naked goo covered baby. All I can see is her head as I approach but she's already stolen my heart. The doctor holds her out to me and I stop in my tracks.

"Doc?" I ask.

"Come on Alpha no need to be squeamish. It won't hurt the little one." He smiles and I shake my head.

"It's not that... um.... it's a little bit lower." The doctor looks confused.

"That's his penis, Alpha... you should probably let the professionals do the circumcision." He tells me and I shake my head.

"I know what it is doc! I thought we were having a girl!?" I yell and my... son starts to cry.

"We'll he's a boy. Do you want to cut the cord or not we need to get him checked out." He says and I cut the cord.

"A boy." I whisper to myself. How is this possible. He can't be an Alpha. There's no doubt Cedric is a budding Alpha... maybe it went to him because I'll be to old to lead when my son turns 18... that must be it. It's the only explanation.

"Daddy!" My little girl runs in.

"We'll hi princess Kelly how are you?" I chuckle.

"I'm too old to be called princess for one and for two wheres my baby sister!?" She growls at me and I laugh.

"Your brother is just getting his first check up. He'll be back soon." I tell her.

"Brother?" She asks and I nod.

"So what are we gonna name him?" My mate asks. Well no offense to Johnny Cash but naming him Sue after Milly's mom is out of the question now.

"How about Storm?" I suggest and she nods.

"Storm Alexander..." She humms.
