"Alpha, Luna." My Beta greets us as he enters my office.
Milly nods with a smile and goes back to planning the pack BBQ this Saturday.
"What is it, Zane?" I ask him.
"Just some packs up north..." he sas with a growl. "They keep asking for our help. Apparently a group of rogues keep attacking them and kidnapping young girls... I thought you'd want to know." he tells me looking ready to kill. I growl at the news. Not again!
"Round up some men. We're going hunting!" I command as I storm out of the office.
"With pleasure!" He growls joining me.
In no time I have twenty warriors ready to back me up. With a earth shaking roar I shift and run north. Many howls fallow as paws thunder on the ground behind me.

"Alpha Raymond." The incompetent Alpha of the northern packs greets me. I simply nod. I'm in no mood for pleasantries. I want blood.
"How many have you lost?" I ask straight to business.
"Twelve young women over the course of a year. We have a few previous cases that may be linked but its gotten out of control." He tells me.
"Show me." I growl and he leads me to his office.
The files show all the girls are between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. Sounds about right.
"I thought we took care of these guys." Zane links me.
"Me too, brother." I respond.
"Why so young?" The northern Alpha asks.
"Mature bodies but to young to find a mate." I answer.
"You don't mean..." he pales without finishing. I nod.
"They made the mistake of taking a mated wolf before and it didn't end well for them." I state.
"You okay Zane?" I link and he nods.
"We will fan out. We know they headed further north with the girls. Anyone catches a scent we meet up with them. This will end today!"
Beta Zane POV
It's been nine years since my mate was taken. Our bond forced me to suffer the first year as other men took her. Eventually the pain numbed and I assumed she was dead.
Ray and I hunted down every rogue in the group that took her. We killed so many but never found her. A few months ago I realized she didn't die all those years ago because I finally felt the bond snap. It's an agony I wouldn't wish on anyone.
When I heard about the kidnappings I had to tell Ray. My mate Gennifer was his baby sister after all. Knowing we didn't get them all coupled with feeling the bond break kills me. I thought she was dead! I would never have stopped looking if I would have felt she was alive!
"Mate blocked us." My wolf whispers.
"Not possible. Sure you can block thoughts but not the whole bond!" I argue.
"You'd be surprised what a wolf can do to protect their mate." He says before slipping away into my mind.
"You sure you're up for this?" Ray asks as we get ready to go after them.
"No way you bench me Ray. We've been through this before." I growl.
"Before you were still connected to Genny. Now I don't know." He says looking seriously at me gauging my sanity.
"I need this... I failed her. Don't force me to do that again." I beg him. He nods.
"If you start to lose it I'm pulling you out." He says and I nod.
Alpha Raymond POV
It takes a few hours before we find the compound. They have more men than before. I watch my Beta closely. I know he is to close to this but I can't deny him his revenge. I accepted my sister's death years ago but I just can't believe they are still out there! I feel like a failure as a big brother but I know it is worse for a mate. I can't imagine losing Milly.
"Take out the guards quickly and quietly then we make some noise. "No survivors." I command over the link and I get many growls agreeing.
"Let's finish this." I link Zane and we charge the compound.
