Chloe Zane's Point of View

"Chloe ano na?!" Sigaw sa akin ni Lester mula sa labas ng pinto. Hindi ko ito pinansin at naglapat na lang ng lipstick sa labi ko. Matapos mag ayos ay kaagad na din akong lumabas ng kwarto, tumambad naman sa akin ang nakabunsangot na muka ni Lester.

"What's with that face?" I asked.

"Gerald is waiting downstairs, bakit ba ang tagal mo?" Pagmamataray nito.

"I'm fixing myself!"

Hindi ko na ito pinansin at tuluyan ng bumaba.

"What took you so long?" Gerald asked. He didn't even greet me!

" Nothing, just girly stuff."

"Did you eat breakfast?" He ask again. Ano ba 'to pumunta para interviewhin ako?

"I don't eat breakfast, let's go."

He guide me to enter his Lambo then he start the engine.

"Are you ready?"

"I'm always ready." I answered.

Komportable kong ipinuwesto ang sarili ko sa upuan ng kotse nito. Ngunit agad din akong napatayo ng maramdaman ang paghinto nito.

"This isn't you're sister's company Gerald." I said to him, staring at his eyes. It's pretty b-but I-I'm not affected.

"Why did you freaking stop you're car? This isn't your sister's com-"

"-I know Chloe, but please? Let me get you a breakfast first." Pagpuputol nito sa sinabi ko.

"I don't eat breakfast."

"Well starting from this day you need to eat breakfast, it's part of being our company's personal secretary and model." He insist.

At kailan pa naging parte ng pagmomodel at pagiging secretary ang pagkain ng almusal araw araw?

"Really? Are you serious?" I said while giving him a 'what's - that-look'.

"What's with that stare Chloe Zane? I want you to eat breakfast consistently because as our model and secretary you need to take care of yourself and breakfast is the most important meal of the day gorgeous."

I didn't know na meron siyang ganitong side. He cares sa mga employee nila? Hindi halata sa pagmumuka niya.

"I'll get you some breakfast, stay here in my car." He said then he entered the Starbucks cafe.

Hindi siya yung boss ko pero grabe siya maka-utos.

Medyo matagal siya sa loob kaya naisipan kong tawagan sila mama pero di siya sumasagot, in another call. May kachikahan ata, kaya naisipan ko naman na tawagan na lang sila Ken at Eli. The sweetest couple as usual.

["Sh*t, sh*t you called."] Panimula ni Ken. Obvious naman diba? Kagagahan ng bestfriend ko.

["Isn't it obvious? Where's you're wife?"]

["Bakit si Eli hinahanap mo e, ako yung bestfriend mo!"] He shouted in another line.

["I mostly care to her than to you."] Then I laugh.

["Nagluluto pa e."]

["By the way kamusta diyan? Ano nang balita diyan?"] I asked. I miss them all of them including him... Not Ken ha? But you know him... Si ano arghh! Why is it hard to say? May pain pa di- fvck! Nevermind.

["Uhmm here? Wala namang bago, pogi pa din ako, but in him? If you asked. They are married."]

I suddenly drop my phone out of nowhere. Nablangko ako, natuliro ako, He's married? Agad?
