After, four small bottles of spirt gum remover, three face sponges, three pair of arms, forty-two pictures, twenty-six make up wipes, and an hour and a half I was green free! Green freeish. My face still has a distinct green tint to it, but what can you do?
Today at rehearsal most people took one look at me and said stuff like 'you have a little bit of green there' or 'you do realize you're green, right?' I shrugged everyone but Sadie off, who I explained the story to. Let's just say Sadie is a giggler.
All through rehearsal I was thinking about Kyle and I's 'date' (if you would call it that) after practice. I was quite confused 'did Kyle just invite me because he did not wont the ticket to go to waste? Maybe he really dose like me? But how could he like me?! He probably just thought oh hey I will be kissing this girl eight times a week in a month so I might as well get to know her! No. He definitely was not thinking that. Who would want to get to know me? I hope we have a good time and I am not my usual awkward self. This night needs to be perfect!'
I am quite jumpy all through rehearsal which makes my spell casting a little different. I might of really really snapped at the Shiz students in my first scene. Either way when we did the famous 'As Long As Your Mine' Kyle was quite tense.
When I packed up my things to leave since we had an early leave Sadie walked over to me. "Someone seems tense," Sadie stats. "Who? Me?!" I say jumping up to look at her. Sadie singers and replies, "yes you!" I stare at Sadie, "I am not tense!" Kyle chooses this time to walk past us and say, "yes you are!" I glare at Kyle, "who said you could have a say in this?" Kyle smirks and looks at me, "I did. See you later tonight, where something nice," Kyle winks and leaves. I glare at the back of his head but soon my anger melts into another feeling I can't explain.
"What was that about?" Sadie asks me but I just smile and start walking out of the theater. Sadie interrogates me, "What's going on here?" I give her an innocent face, "what do you mean?" Sadie's face turns red with anger, "you know what!" I look at her confused, "I do not believe I do..." Sadie marches up to me and states, "you have a thing for Kyle, don't you? I will get to the bottom of this if it is the last thing I do!" I sigh and look into her determined eyes, "fine, I might have a thing for Kyle, I am not sure myself really... he asked me to go see Mama Mia with him though! He told me, and I quote, 'my friend and I were going to see Mama Mia but he got sick and can't go so now I have a free ticket' then he asked me if I wanted to go see it with him... But how could he like me? I am me!"
Sadie looks at me and starts jumping up and down, "he totally likes you!!!" I just shrug off her comment knowing that Kyle could never like an anorexic girl like me...
***************
I run around my room until I find the perfect outfit (a.n: the outfit above)! I look in the mirror and try to put cover up over my green-ness, it did not work very well... Kyle knocks on the door right when I finish braiding my hair. I open the door to see a very dashing man standing in front of me. He is wearing a blue and black plaid button- up shirt with rolled up sleeves, off- black slacks, dress shoes, with slicked back hair. Kyle gawks at my appearance while my cheeks turn a lovely shade of pink to mach my dress.
"Hello," I say to get Kyle's attention. Kyle swipes his hand through his hair, "ummm, hi. You look nice..." I raise an eyebrow, "your not so bad your self." Kyle brushes his hand through his hair, "shall we?" He extends his elbow for my me to take, "we shall!" I state and with that we make are way to the elevator and I hum 'follow the yellow brick road.' When we get to the elevator their is tape across is that has a sign saying:
'This machine is OUT OF ORDER please use the stairs
-------------------->'
I look down the hallway and see a sign at the fork in it with an aero pointing to the left. "Well that's nice," I sigh, "it was working earlier." Kyle's eyes glint mischievously, "do you think if we call the elevator and tap dance in it, it will work?" I glare at Kyle, "this is not Thoroughly Modern Millie!" Kyle singers, "your just embarrassed that you can't tap dace!" I look at him as he gets back into his usual teasing ways, "is that a challenge?" Kyle looks into my eyes, "yes."
