I walk down the hallway feeling exhilarated from the rehearsal. I am on the way to an interview with one of the public papers in a back room. On my way to the room I run (quite literally) into a girl with brown hair and golden highlights. I bend down and help the girl to her feet,

"I am so sorry!"

I exclaim.

"Oh that's okay I am not in a ru-"

The girl looks at me and stops in mid-sentence.

"Oh you where amazing today!"

"Oh thank you! I am Tamsin and you are?"

"I'm Nichole the Galinda standby!"

"Nice meeting you but I really must get going, I am so sorry for running into you!"

"No problem!"

'Okay, she seemed way to happy about being pushed on to the ground!' I think as I walk to the room. When I enter the room I am greeted by the smell of cheap cologne. I see Sadie and immediately walk over to her. A moment later a man that looks I his mid 40s walks in.

"Hello lady's!"

The man winks at us and starts talking,

"Come in here guys!"

He calls out the door and three men come in, each lugging a huge expense camera, Sadies and I's eyes go big as we stare at the monstrosities. The men hand both of us a clip-on microphone and we put them on the collar of our shirts.

"Okay lady's, let's start the interview. My name is Donald Johnson and you to lovely lady's look ready for this interview,"

The man smiles an award winning smile (quite literally) and continues on with his continuous speech,

"I will start out with simple questions and make my way up. When you say your answers put the question in it, for example, the question is: How old are you? You answer: I am thirty-two years old. Get it? Good! First question:"

(A.n: I am going to dip the rest of the chapter script-style!)

Donald: How old are you?

(Tamsin shifts uncomfortably but continues to answer his question)

Tamsin: I am twenty-two years old...

Sadie: I am twenty-seven years old!

(Tamsin thinks about how natural and easy it seems for Sadie to have an interview and envies her nerve)

Donald: How long have you been acting? Tamsin answer fist please.

Tamsin: I have been acting for a while now. I started preforming when I was (Tamsin pauses to think) about.... Three or four years old.... No, I was four! I started doing musical theater when I was seven years old but it was only a small ensemble part. (Tamsin try's a smile that comes out kinda awkward)

Donald: Sadie?

(Sadie smiles confidently)

Sadie: My mother used to be on Broadway so naturally I was raised on the stage. I don't exactly know how old I was when I was in my first play but I know I was fairly young. As for musicals, I started musical theater when I was... Hmmmm. Maybe four or five. (Sadie smiles again while Tamsin looks at her green fingers)

Donald: What were you doing before Wicked? Tamsin.

(Tamsin hopes no one can see her blushing under the green)

Tamsin: A fair warning my answer probably will not be as glamorous as Sadie's. I was living in Portland Oregon and I worked at the local theater and was the female lead in their musical 'Bonnie and Clyde'

(Tamsin starts to feel more and more confident but her confidence rate is interrupted by Donald's sniggering)

Donald: what about you Sadie?

Sadie: Well before I was here I actually on vacation, but before that I was on the Wicked tour in the ensemble and as a Galinda/Glinda understudy!

(Donald smiles at Sadie and frowns at Tamsin)

Donald: What is your favorite part of rehearsal everyday? Sadie, why don't you go first?

Sadie: Well I must say my favorite part of rehearsal is, I like being able to actually be Galinda rather than the stand by, and being able to work with all of these amazing people is marvelous but I really just love the lunch brake and when rehearsal ends! By the end of the day you can get really tired and thrilled for the next day but at lunch you get to know your fellow cast members better which I think is an essential to help an actors abilities flourish!

Donald: Thank you Sadie, Tamsin?

(Tamsin thinks hard to try to top Sadies answer but decided to be honest)

Tamsin: My favorite part of rehearsal is actually being on stage and working as hard as I can to achieve my goals and the directors goals for me. Goals give me something to strive for; that inspiration that comes from the visions you see in your head of the future push me to go on and be better.

(Tamsin mentally pats herself on the back for making her answer: I like working sound a whole lot better than that.)

Donald: Okay, where are you from? Tamsin.

(Tamsin debates whether or not she should tell the truth to the world)

Tamsin: My family, my mother, twin brother, and father all live in Oregon but I was born in the U.K.

Donald: Why don't you have an accent?

(Tamsin restrains herself from yelling at Donald)

Tamsin: I... Grew Out Of It...

Donald: Okay? Sadie!

Sadie: Born and raised in New York City!

Donald: well it has been nice talking and having you girls here, have a good night and check the paper this week!

Tamsin: Thank you...

(On the inside Tamsin is still fuming but she holds her anger in and looks at her shoes while walking out the door)
