(A.n: SCHOOLS OUT!!!!

I live in a town where no one but my mother knows how to drive in the snow/ice and we don't have any snow plows here so NO SCHOOL TODAY!!! Here is a celebratory chapter!

WHACH THE VIDEO BEFORE YOU READ!!!)

The man introduced himself,

"Hello Elphaba's my name in Mark,"

I try to suppress my laughter since I just danced with a Mark,

"I am the Head Carpenter here and I help make sure everything is safe for our actors stunts."

Okay so Mark the crew member is going to be Mark C. And Mark the Wizard will be Mark Wizard, easy enough.

"Everyone follow me,"

Mark says while leading us up center stage. Their are about ten girls following Mark C. Which means ten girls can fill in for me. Wow!

"Okay so this,"

Mark gestures to a black machine in the back of the room with black sheets connected to it,

"Is how Elphaba 'Defies Gravity' now if I can have the main Elphaba, I believe she is green."

Mark laughs at his joke and I step forward with my hat lopsided on my head.

"Okay this is how you do it,"

Mark points to different parts of the lift/machine and explains to me how to 'Defy Gravity.'

"One question,"

I ask.

"Yes?"

Mark says.

"If I lean forward will I fall out, like on the front bars?"

"No, you shouldn't because the mental bars latch together and stay that way until the curtain close and you are brought down and stay that way when you start to be lift."

"Okay good!"

I shake my arms out and stare Mark in the eyes,

"I am ready!"

"Okay no props at first though."

I see a camera man start rolling the tape and I start singing my line,

"It's me!
It's meeeeeeeeee!"

I feel the platform take off from the ground and feel light headed as I get taken up to the top of the stage. I feel amazing and continue singing,

"So if you care to find me
Look to the western sky!"

I fist pump the air as I sing my last note,

"Ahhhhhhh!"

A feeling of power washes over me Mark and my fellow Elphaba's smile up at me. I get lowered slowly to the ground and get a round of applause. My face flushes crimson and someone comes up and gives me a pat on the back.

"Well done Tamilishes!"

I turn around and give Kyle a look that says 'really?' Kyle smiles at me and says,

"I personally think that is the best nickname yet."

I am about to reply but I here Director Mantello yell out as he is walking on the stage,

"Okay let's run the last part again but this time, Tamsin you will have the broom and cape then we will run it form the top of the song and the Witch Hunters will be in it. Go!"

Some random person puts the cape on me and hands me the broom which is a lot heavier than I thought it was! I start from the same part as last time and toss my cape over the mechanics while yelling the first

"It's me!"

I start being raised and I decide I should do fancy arm movements, so I do. I hold the broom in one hand and once or twice I toss it to the other hand while trying to imitate the movements someone would make when trying to levitate. While I get lowered Director Mantello says,

"Well done Tamsin now from the top of that song. EVERYONE CLEAR THE STAGE!"
