Defying Broadway Gravity

(A. N: Back to Tamsin's point of view!!!)

I had breakfast (for the first time in a while) alone. Kyle made no attempt to contact me, so I walked to the theatre alone. I went to Central Park with a mini breakfast (a bagel and tea) and walked until I found a place to sit down at. I walked around and ate breakfast for a while before taking a subway to the theatre.

I get to the theatre right around half hour. I walk in the stage door and say hi to Jimmy (the door Gard) and ask for my dressing room key, "Your dressing room is already open," is all he tells me. This is of course usual because my dresser loves being here early!

As I walk up the stairs lots of people avoid making eye contact with me when I say good morning. 'is some thing up,' I think to myself while walking past Sadie's dressing room which is empty. 'thats odd, Sadie is almost always here before me...' I get to my room and open the  door and a few things happen at once:

Sadie, Rex, Kyle, Mike, Jennifer, and Nichole all pop out from somewhere and yell, "surprise!" and through confetti of some sort into the air as I take in my surroundings. First thought: Green. I swear everything in the room is green in some way except some yellow roses put in random spots all throughout the room... "wow," I mutter out before my knees go weak and i plop down kinda hard on the GREEN couch. "umm, yeah wow! Errr, thank you? I mean thank you," Kyle looks like he is slightly deflating and everyone else's smiles vanish. "I mean I love it but I was just joking when I said that you could decorate I never thought that you would..... I mean it is a lot to take in," I try to  reassure everyne but they just stare at me. " could I have a few minutes alone please," I mutter...

I walk up to the shelf full of pictures and wipe a tear from my eye while looking at my favorite picture that I have not seen in a long time. The picture is of me leading my first horse ( Fiyero or Yero my Hero) after my fist show on him where I won first place for jumping three foot, Rex is hugging me and I have a huge grin on my face. I look at the next picture and laugh remembering when the green stuck to my face, the picture is of me trying to block my face from the camera with my hands but you can see me blushing. The rest of the pictures are so touching that people would actually care to put in my dressing room. 

I look over the Little Mermaid curtness to the green couch to the dolphin wind chimes. I smile at my small green room and get ready to be greenified. The show was great and Kyle confronts me afterwards while I am washing my face, " Do you hate it," he says meekly. "No," I blurt out all to fast, "I love it!" A relived look makes it's way onto his face, "good." I smile at him and pull him into a hug, "thank you Kyle." Tears make their way down my face and I pull away from Kyle. "I love it," I smile at him and he reaches up and wipes away my tears and smiles at me. Right then their is a knock at my door and Kyle and I jump apart from each other to opposite sides of the room. 

It is Sadie. "Hey Tamsin, I was wondering if you wanted to stage door with me," Sadie gives me the puppy dog eyes and I mutter, "sure, one sec." I Finnish washing off the green and Kyle offers Sadie and me an arm (one each) and we hook are elbows and walk outside.

(AN: wow long time no see! Sorry a lot has happened these months! I got cast as one of the 3 non-singing parts in Beauty and the beast... I made it into the preforming arts high school I auditioned for ( i got the letter almost a month late)! My rehearsals for Elephants Graveyard keep getting longer... I saw Hamilton and School of Rock in NYC! yeah... A lot XD I will try to update more often, I am sorry you have been waiting so long! OH, and I just realized I have been writing this book for a year! How cool is that?!?!?!
