The morning went very, very slow! We permanently moved onto the actual stage which meant shorter rehearsals due to the fact that shows were still going on. We are going to get to move into our dressing rooms today since the last show (with the cast right now) will be in a couple of days. After the last performance their is going to be a week without shows for us to get ready, ready.
After rehearsal Kyle walked up to me with a huge grin on his face. I raised an eyebrow at his quirkiness. Kyle pulls two tickets out from behind his back, "My friend, she's in the remake of Legally Blonde and opening night is tonight! She ummm gave me two tickets though so I was wondering if you wanted to go....?" The look on Kyle's face was pleading with me, "You really need to stop taking me to shows, their expensive!" Kyle grins, "So that's a yes?" I nod (how could you miss Legally Blonde?) and he continues, "I will pick you up at five o'clock p.m. so be ready by then!"
As I turn to leave the theatre Director Mantello walks up to me with a key jingling in his hand, "this is to your new dressing room! Caroline has already cleaned it out, except for the makeup. Basically you can do what ever you want to it, but no wallpaper, knocking down walls, or vandalizing it." I hug Mantello, "Thank you so much!" I exclaim.
I rush underneath the stage to my new dressing room. When I unlock the room it is completely bare except for a spiny chair, makeup, and a framed poster the days 'ARE YOU GREEN YET?' The walls are a salmon pink color that is quite nice and tropical. Glinda would approve. The dressing room is quite large and I sit down in the middle to brainstorm what I want to do with it.
When you walk in the makeup counter is directly in front of you. To the right of the counter is the costume closet. To the left of the counter is a door to the Bathroom. Their is plenty of space to waste in the room. 'I could get a couch and a coffee table,' I think wondering what to do, 'I like the paint, maybe I could get fancy stickers to put on the wall!' My eyes go wide when I think of my next idea, 'I could make a mural!'

So if you guys did not know, my other activity besides acting, singing, and dancing is equestrian! I ride English jumpers and stuff... I reached one of my goals today! My pony, Frankie (a.k.a. One Trick Pony) is 14 hands (each hand is four inches) on his papers it said that they have only ever jumped less than 3 feet on him and guess what I did in a clinic today?!?!?! I JUMPED 3 FOOT/ 3 FOOT 1!!!!!!!
The clinic was amazing and I got to ride with a man who trained with Gorge Moris (the founder of modern day equestrian)!!! I am so proud of my pony! 😘🐴🐎
