(An: you guys will probably hate me when I finish this chapter but this is the first thing I thought of when I decided to write a Broadway fanfic....)

I wake up feeling like a reck! 'OH MY GOD THE SHOW IS TODAY!!!' I freak out in my house. I check my clock to find it is about 4:00 in the morning. I sigh knowing that I won't go back to sleep. I get dressed in some sweats and through my hair into a messy bun. I feel like I am forgetting something as I walk out the door...

I push the elevator button to call it up and Kyle steps beside me. "Well you are up early," I remark. "Nice to see you too Tamalistic," Kyle replies. I playfully hit his arm, "Again with these nicknames! I need one for you now," I think as the elevator doors open and we step into the carriage. "Kye," I finally say, "now that's a nickname!" Kyle smirks, "sure thing Tamillo!" I sigh when I relies that this is a lost cause.

Kyle twirls his keys around his finger, "Need a ride?" I smirk, "Do you need a ride?... And yes, yes I do."

Kyle and I get into his car and I look through his CDs until I find'Love Never Dies' and freak out, "OHY GOD I LOVE LOVE NEVER DIES!" I yell and Kyle looks at me dead serious, "You do?" I shake my head like an idiot, "of course I do Sierra and Ramin are Gods!" I push the CD into the player and skip to the song 'only for him/you.'

I sing with Meg's part, "I'll be waiting in the wing wound up tighter than a spring as the house begins to dim. And I'll practice every line hoping desperately to shine. Shining only for him"

I sing until the end of the song and Kyle pauses the music and gives me a look I can't quite place. Fondness? Curiosity? Reading my thoughts? "You are perfect for that part!" Kyle tells me with a bit of excitement in his eyes. I blush, "well it's not like I'm ever going to get the part, it is off Broadway and the West End..." I look down at my hands and Kyle reaches over and grabs my hand, "don't be sad, I bet it will come to Broadway one day, it's Andrew Lloyd Webber for crying out loud!" I smile at him, "thank you." Kyle glances at me, "for what?" I rest my head on his arm over the middle compartment in the car, "for calming me down." The rest of the car ride is silent except for the sound of angels coming out of the music speaker.

When we get to the theatre Kyle leads me through the stage door and we go our separate ways to go to our dressing rooms. I sit down in my spiny chair that I sit in for makeup and look at my almost empty dressing room besides the plethora of flowers and opening night gifts. 'I really need to do something to this place!' I think as I stare at my empty wall.

At 7:45 Sadie walks into my room with two cups of coffee. "Good morning Tamsin!" Sadie smiles at me, "I brought you coffee, it's fresh out of my dressing room coffee pot!" I laugh at Sadie's constant obsession with her coffee pot in her room. She painted it pink and put glitter on it, plus it's name is Crutchy Paulette the coffee pot, or CP for short... I take the coffee, "thank you so much!" I take a sip of the bitter-sweat coffee, "mmmmm, this is really good!" Sadie grins, "well Cruchy Paulette always dose a great job!" Sadie bounces out of my room and I am left by myself again.

Having nothing els to go, I repaint my green nails green...again... I decide to look through some of the gift bags to pass time. A nice girl named Noel sent me a card/ poster that said

'Dear Tamsin Gasper,

You seam like a perfect new Elphie from what I have seen! I can't wait to see you Defy Gravity for the first time in front of an audience! My mom got us tickets to come see you opening night and we are flying all the way from the UK to come see you! I can't wait!!! Brake a leg!!!

Best wishes,
Noel'

'Well that did nothing to help with my nerves,' I think while looking at the swirly designs on the card. 'Well at least she was nice...'
