An: we are doing something different this chapter!)
Kyle's point of view
I walk into Tamsin's dressing room and look around. Bare is the first word in my head, I smirk as Sadie walks in with green paint. "Lets put down the tarp and put painters tape on stuff!" Sadie laughs, "do you even know how to use painters tape?" I smile, "no, but it looks professional!"
A couple minutes later Rex, Nichole, Bernadette, mike, and Jennifer are all helping paint the walls in the dressing room from light salmon to Elphaba green! I go outside after I get a text from some moving guys bringing us a couch for the room.
I lead the guys who look kinda in awe to Tamsin's dressing room and tell them to set it down in the hallway for after the paint drys. After tipping the Men they leave.
We finessed painting now we need decorations! We all go to a supper mart and spread out! I go in the curtain section to get something to cover up her closet/ costumes. I am debating over dark green and light green curtains when I find something glorious! Right to my left is a set of the most Tamsinish curtains ever! The little mermaid! I put the curtains in my cart and look for something special to get her.
I go to the wind chime section knowing that she loves them when I find something that catches my eye. It doesn't really go with the green of the room but it goes with the curtains! I fragilely pick up the wind chime and put it in my cart with the curtains and a few other things and head to check out.
This is what everyone got:
Sadie: light cage, flashy lights, paint brushes, pictures and frames
Mark: Corner shelves, hanging shelves, pictures and frames
Bernadette: Green wind chimes (x2), pictures, and frames
Nichole: short green lamp, pictures, and frames
Jennifer: rounded green lamp, pictures and frames
Rex: foldable step later, fake yellow roses (x37), black light plug in light panel, Star Glow in the dark celling stickers, mini zen garden, picture frames, and pictures
Kyle: Couch, special gift, curtains, drawers, paint, and stickers!
When we get back the paint is starting to dry so Mark heads out to get some food and we go to the green room. I walk up to the fridge and open it to a revolting smell! One of the Women shriek, "CLOSE IT!" I do so for the smell was clouding my brain.
Mark comes back with the food an hour later claiming that "traffic was bad." For five more hours we play stupid games, sing, and eat until the paint is dry. The paint took about approximately six hours and forty minutes to dry.
When it is dry we go to the room and take all of the painters tape and the tarps out of the room and in the trash and take the couch into the room. We all spread out and start putting the stuff we got Tamsin in the room or start making it. Sadie is in her dressing room cutting out the photos and putting them in frames with Jennifer helping her. Mark is putting all the shelfs up. Nichole is putting up all the lights. I am putting the light cage, curtains, stickers, my special gift up, and I already put the dresser up. Nichole is putting up the wind chimes and helping Rex put the common supplies he got out away.
Rex is currently putting a black light panel on the ceiling right in front of the closet and curtains. He has already put glow star stickers on the ceiling with Nichole and put together the mini zen garden on the vanity. After they do that they are putting a bunch of fake fabric yellow roses in a vase on the vanity.
In about an hour or two the room is complete and ready for Tamsin tomorrow!
