The next day is a matinee show so I am at the theatre early. My dressing room still surprises me when I walk in today as much as it did yesterday. I sit in my makeup chair and shed my coat as Kyle walks in, "Hey Tam-skin!" I laugh, "Skin, Really?" He shrugs, "It's getting harder and harder to come up with nicknames!" We both laugh and he smiles his signature smile,"Hey Tamsin." I look up at him through my mirror, "Yes Kyle?" He smiles then says kinda fast, "Would you like to go to dinner with me after the show?" I turn around to look at him and smile then nod my head,"Yeah, that would be fun!" He sighs in a way that looks like relief but then recovers quickly as Robert walks in.

Robert quickly looks back and forth between us as is he just now realized he was interrupting something. Kyle quickly walks out the room and Robert gets to work. I saw Sadie and Mark while being greenified and MaryKay has put my wig on me. I smile in the mirror at Robert, "thank you," I exclaim with a smile. He winks at me and leaves me to warm up.

The show went really well, the only mess up was when Sadie sneezed in the middle of Popular (it was adorable though!)  but over all it went great! I just got out of my costume and wig and now I am taking off my makeup. Both Sadie and Kyle poke their heads into the room and look at me. I raise an eyebrow at them and they eventually enter the room.

Kyle smirks at me, "you match the wall," he says with a gleeful glint to his voice. I smile and climb up to my wall and do the 'spider on the wall' thing. I head Sadie's phone click with a camera shutter. I groan and stick my tongue out at her, after this action I hear the gut wrenching sound of her camera again.

"I have to shower," I say with a laugh while pushing the evil duo out the door. I sigh as I hear the satisfying sound of the door closing. I take a quick shower, knowing that I am missing loads of green around my hair line. I look in the mirror and try to style my frizzy hair into a neat plait on the left side of my head. I scan my reflection in the mirror with a sigh and turn away before I start to judge myself. I pull on my warm coat immediately being overheated but when I walk out the stage door I wish I had more layers.

As soon I as I come out the door I hear a low roar from the small gathered crowd. I feel a swell of shy nervousness before I step out of the door way with a smile. I hear my phone ring and look down at it to see a message from Kyle:

Kyle: I'll be out by the stage door in a few minuets!

I text back:

Tamsin: Cool! I'll be here when you get out here!

I smile at my phone screen then lift my head to the awaiting crowd. I smile at the first girl in front of me, "Hi!" I say breathlessly. She beams at me, "Hello!" I smile at the pretty blonde girl, "what's your name?" She grins even wider, "Rachel!" I smile at her, "nice to meet you Rachel!" I reach into my pocket for a sharpie and find it empty. "Crap!" I say out loud, "I forgot a sharpie!" I hear a low giggle through out the gathered crowed. My fellow cast mates just shake their heads with a smile. I put my theatre bag on the floor and shift my stuff in in it to try to find a sharpie. No luck. "One sec," I tell the crowd while turning to go back inside.

The stage door opens right when I grab for it and I have no time to prepare myself from walking into a strong surface head first. I feel an awful crunch in my nose before the wight of my bag sets me off balance and sends me sprawling on the floor.

"Shit," a nervous voice exclaims. I look up holding my bloody nose to see the one and only Kyle. Dush purse. He comes down to the floor to examine my face. "Let me get inside," I mumble quietly. He nods helping me stand. I grab and turn to my on looking audience, "I will be back," I say with a small laugh before Kyle leads me inside.

"I am so sorry Tamsin," He leads me to his dressing room because it is closer than my own, "I feel like such a dush!" I giggle quietly, "you should." I grin up at him while still cradling my bleeding nose. "Oh here," Kyle reaches around me for a napkin and hands it to me so I can catch the dripping blood from my nose. After a few minuets the steady stream resides to nothing and I stand to wash my hands.

"So I guess dinner is off then," I snap my head around so fast it pops, "why?" Kyle looks up at me, "I just thought..." he trails off but I pick up his thoughts, "thought what?" Kyle breaks my heavy gaze and looks at my lap, "I don't know... it's just really late... and after we go through the stage door it will probably be to late to go out anywhere."

I let the silence linger in the air before throwing in my own suggestion, "I could cook?" Kyle immediately bursts out laughing, "and fall victim of your ratchet cooking? I don't think so! I'll cook," he says it with a finality that suggests no back talking. I shrug and we leave the theatre together with me preparing myself for an interesting dinner?
