18) My wonderful greenness

My phone rings out in full volume Defying Gravity and I pick it up looking at the time. 4:28 a.m. Who in the world would call me at this time? I pick up my phone and answer the call,

"Hello?"

My voice sounds rough and scratchy due to the fact that I just woke up.

"Hello, sorry for calling you so early, is this Tamsin Gasper?"

I don't recognize the voice so I question it,

"Yes? May I ask who this is?"

"Oh sorry for not introducing myself, my name is Katie Woods and I am the newest member of the Green Team."

The women, Katie sounds very proud of her comment about being part of the green team. Of course I know what the Green Team is; the Green Team is the group of people who do Elphaba's makeup.

"Congratulations?!"

I say still slightly confused about why she was calling me.

"Oh thank you! Well today some photographers and interviewers are coming to witness the first time everyone get to do their stunts! For example you will get to 'Defy Gravity' today and Glinda will get to ride on the bubble!"

So far I like where this is going.

"And we wanted to 'Greenify' you and surprise everyone!"

Now I understand why Katie called my so early!

"Okay, so when do you want me to come to the theater?"

Katie hesitates before saying,

"Right now?"

I sigh and say,

"I'll be their as soon as I can..."

Then the line went dead. I get out of bed and streach before getting dressed. I put on a grey/blue tank top and skirt then grab my black blazer and bag before rushing out the door. It didn't take as long as usual to get to the theater due to how early it is but like everyone says 'The City Never Sleeps At Night.'

I walk into the theater and walk past the front desk without a second glance then hear the familiar 'cough cough' coming from it. I turn to look at the front desk and see the 'Umbridge Lady.'

"Yes?"

I say, slightly annoyed.

"What's your name sweetie?"

The lady smiles a sickening smile and I breath in before replying,

"Tamsin Gasper I play Elphaba Thropp in Wicked and I anger early because my makeup artist asked me to go one early."

"I don't see any 'Tamsin Gaspers' on the list."

She smiles at me again while I try to resist blowing up,

"We went through this yesterday! I. Am. In. Wicked. And. Need. To. Go."

I smile back at her a smile equal to her own. The lady shakes her head in mock sympathy and I pick up my phone and call Katie back.

"Hi Katie, I need you to come to the lobby because the lady at the front desk won't let me in."

"Okay I will be their in a sec."

The line went dead and I turned to the lady,

"Katie, my makeup artist is coming to get me, happy?"

"Very,"

The women says keeping her eyes on me. After a minuet passed a short, plump, brunette girl with dazzling green eyes walked in.

"Hi I'm Katie!"
