chapter 3 {studie}

you're walking alone thru the school halls. you were happy, you made some friends in school and you got a scholarship for a really good music school. everything was great you thought as you walked to the classroom. you walked down the hall when you saw a dark figure standing at the end of the hall. you came closer to the figure and saw it was a man dressed in all black, long hair and a metal arm. "Bucky?" you say as you come closer to him. you looked up at him and saw his eyes were empty. he then points a gun at you. "what are you doing" you ask him confused. "hail hydra!" he says before pulling the trigger letting you fall dead to the ground.

"y/n wake up, it's just a dream" you hear Steve say as you slowly open your eyes. you were still in shock at what you saw. "hey everything okay?" he asked you worried. you nod your head and Steve hugs you tightly. "I'm fine now" you say as you lay back down in bed. after a couple minutes Steve falls back asleep. not able to fall asleep again you get out of bed and walk downstairs. you fill a glass of water to calm yourself down. you turn around to go back upstairs as Bucky stands behind you. your eyes grow wide.

"are you okay" he asked you. "don't kill me" you scream at him while tears start forming in your eyes. "what?" Bucky asked you confused stepping closer to you. "please don't kill me" you say now terrified. "hey calm down, i'm not gonna hurt you y/n" he says calmly with worry in his eyes. you look in his worried eyes realizing it was just a dream and the real Bucky would never hurt you. "I'm sorry Bucky, i just had a nightmare were you, were they" you say as tears run down your face. "hey it's okay" he says hugging you "I'm never gonna hurt you y/n" he says. "I know" you say to Bucky hugging him tighter.

"why are you up?" you ask him as you let go of him. "yeah, you know" he said. "you had a nightmare too?" you say looking at him with a serious look in your eyes, knowing he didn't like to admit it. "yes" he says looking down to the ground. "well, i can't sleep anymore so what are we going to do?" you ask him, trying to cheer him up. "well i just found out about this game" he said smiling up at you. "what game?" you ask him. "it's this video game called Mario something, it's fun let's play" he said grabbing your hand walking with you to the Livingroom. you played the video game, Bucky was right it was a fun game. you looked over at Bucky, a kid like joy on his face. this man would never hurt you, you thought to yourself as you played the game until you fell asleep.

* bucky's pov*

you had fun gaming with y/n and she eventually fell asleep on your lap. you put the tv out and combed thru her hair. you were still curious about what she wanted to say to you, after you told her that you loved her. but thinking about it you were not sure you were ready for what she was going to say. you looked at her, she looked so peaceful now. you would wish this girl the world, you wish you could let all the hurt and pain in her life disappear. but you couldn't and even worse, sometimes you had been the reason she got hurt.

you thought about how she reacted to you a few moments ago, she was genuinely scared of you, you knew it was just because she had a nightmare but what if it was more than that. she deserves so much better than me, you thought to yourself. you slowly picked her up and carried her back to her and Steve's room. you gently laid her down on the bed careful not to wake her or Steve up. you took a step back and looked at your 2 favorite people in the world, wishing you could be part of what they had, together.

*your pov*

you wake up as you feel Steve placing a kiss on your forehead. "morning gorgeous" he says smiling at you. "mor-ning" you say with a hoarse voice. you just laid there cuddling in bed for a bit before you walk downstairs to eat breakfast. as you were eating breakfast a familiar girl came walking in. "hey everyone" she said a bit too exited making her sound fake. "hey Sharon" Steve said to her. "hey Steve" she said back at him in a flirty tone. ugh you hate that girl already. she looked over at you like you should say something to her, but you don't say anything. "so what are you doing here Sharon?" Steve asked breaking the tension. "I'm moving in!" she said giving you a bitchy look. "ah agent Carter, you're already here" Fury says as he walk in the room. "here are your keys, and your room is on the 6th floor, second door on the left" Fury says. "but that's y/n's old room?" Steve says to Fury. "exactly, her old room" Fury says to him. Steve looks at you to see what you thought of this. "I have....a way...better room.....right now" you said with a hoarse voice, since your medicine hasn't fully kicked in yet. you smiled up at Steve who smiles back at you.
