your life was back to normal again , well as normal as it gets for you. you still loved your job and you had a few more music gigs with your band, which was becoming quite popular. your phone rang, it was your dad. "hey dad" you say. "hey y/n" he said, stress and panic clearly hearable in his voice. "are you okay?" you asked him worried. "yes, i just uhhh, i wanted to say i love you" he said. "dad what's going on, you're scaring me" you say. "you have to promise me whatever happens you take care of Pepper and you sister, okay?" he says. "dad what's going on" you say freaking out. "well we kind of have a problem, but we're going to fix it. just promise me in case something bad happens" he says and you hear a lot of background noise "Banner watch out!" you hear your dad yell. "I don't have much time y/n, promise me?" he says hurried. "okay i promise, if you promise to be here tomorrow at family diner" you say almost tearing up. "Yes i promise" he says before the line abruptly cuts off. you quickly turn on the tv, the news is everywhere. a big round spaceship is hanging over New York. what the fuck is going on, you thought, fucking aliens?
you were pacing through the Livingroom, worried about your dad, you've called him a 100 times but he didn't pick up. the space ship had left, disappearing into space with no word from your dad. then there was a knock on your door, you open it and see May in tears in front of you. "May what happened?" you ask worrying even more now. "Peter, he...he" she said crying. "what happened with Peter, May" you ask her. "he disappeared with Tony, i think they are still, still in that space ship" she says. "no" you whisper as tears well in your eyes. "they will come back ,my dad promised me" you say hugging her tightly. "they will come back May".
[2 days later]
you and May stayed at Pepper place help her with Morgan. Peter and your dad still didn't return, you were all worried sick. you barely had any sleep because you were freaking out to much. you were pacing the Livingroom, like the so maniest time. "y/n stop" Pepper said holding your shoulders tightly so you couldn't continue pacing. "they will come back to us" she says. "go home get some clean clothes, maybe have showers, if you come back we can watch a movie to take our minds off of it okay" she says. "Pep i" you begin. "no y/n, you need to take care of yourself now, I'm here waiting for you" she says before you walk home.
you walk to your house your head facing down. your eyes look up as you walk up your driveway and are met with a familiar face.

"Steve!" you yell running up to him. he lifts you up and hugs you tightly. "hey" he says softly putting you down on the ground but keeping his arms wrapped around you. you start to cry too overwhelmed with everything that was happening right now. Steve just held you.
"how are you" you ask him as you wipe your tears away letting him into your house. "as good as i can be" he says. "is it really the end of the world, like they say on the news" you ask him and he stays silent. "please stay here at least we die together" you say as tears roll down your face again. Steve wipes the tears away. "I prefer it if no one dies" he says softly caressing your cheek. "do you have to go?" you ask him. "we're leaving for Wakanda tomorrow. till then i like to spend every last second with you" he says placing a soft kiss on your forehead. you put your arms around his neck and pull him in for a passionate kiss.
