you wake up and walk downstairs, completely forgetting there were 6 other people staying with you right now. "good morning" you say to them. "morning" they reply. "hey do you have cereal or something?" Clint asks. "no sorry, didn't think about that. I'll go to the store, you guys make a list of what you guys need" you say. you quickly got dressed ready to go to the store when there was a knock on the door. "I brought donuts" you hear your dad yell from outside. your eyes grow big "go upstairs now! don't make a sound" you whisper hard enough for them to hear you clearly and they rush upstairs. when they out of sight you open the door. "good morning" your dad says smiling at you. "morning" you say back. "can i come in?" he asks. "you always have the worst timing" you say to him. "oh come on y/n, it's just one donut and a cup of coffee maybe" he says. you were panicking a little. if you wouldn't let him in he would definitely know something was up especially if he found out they broke out of the raft. "alright just one coffee then" you say smiling letting him in. "did you have people over last night?" he asks pointing to the messy counter and a stack of pizza boxes laying in the kitchen. "yeah, invited some old friends from school and work" you say as you grab 2 cups of coffee. "that's nice" he says.
"so what's up?" you ask him. "nothing just wanted to have breakfast with my daughter" he says, you look at him with an 'oh really' look. "alright, Steve broke everyone out. and i was just wondering if you heard anything? " he asks. you try to look surprised "no, i haven't. weren't they in a really secure facility?" you ask him playing dumb. "Vision probably helped him because he was gone, i still have no idea how they pulled it off tho" he said, and you felt a little proud inside "so you haven't heard from any of them, not even Steve?". "no" you say looking to the ground trying to look sad at the mention of his name. "okay, if you hear from them you have to tell me, okay?" he says. "so you can lock them up again?" you ask. "well it's not that simple" he says "they put out a shoot to kill order, meaning that if they are found and refuse to cooperate, they will not hesitate to, to kill them". you looked shocked at what your dad was telling you. "they can't really do that right?" you say worried. "the government sees them as a threat, as terrorist. the word 's already out, i just hope they are somewhere safe" he says and you see he genuinely means it, and is worried for them.
"they are smart, i'm sure they are somewhere safe" you say. "I hope so" he says as he finishes his coffee and stands up, walking towards the door. "you're forgetting your donuts, i'm not gonna eat them all on my own" you say to him. "well i don't want them either, Pepper made me taste flavors for wedding cakes yesterday, i don't need any sugar for the rest of the month" he says smiling "take them to work, i'm sure your colleagues would love you for it". "good idea" you say to him. "oh i totally forgot, look" he says handing you a picture of an ultra sound.

"she's healthy" he says and you see he's getting a bit emotional. "that's amazing dad" you say hugging him. you hand him the picture. "no you keep it, i let the lady print an extra one for you" he said to you making you smile, happy he thought about you in that moment. "take care" you say as he steps out of the door. "have a nice day sweetheart" he says before he gets in the car and drives away. you look at the picture and smile.
