chapter 27 {hydra}

*your pov*

"sir they found it" you hear Elliot say. you kept your eyes closed hoping they wouldn't notice you were awake. "good, then they will know she's alive soon. double the security they will probably come and look for her" you hear red skull say. you try your best not to make a move. "I know you're awake" you hear red skull say as Elliot left "your breathing changes when you wake up". you slowly open your eyes, stupid super hearing. "what do you want from me" you ask, you were surprised they haven't wiped your mind yet. "you know i always thought the winter soldier was the strongest of you 2" he begins "but he's only stronger in combat but you, your mind is unbelievably strong" he says as he undoes your restraints, that tied you to the bed.

"you were never really susceptible to our mind control. don't get me wrong the mind wiping worked fine on you, but the mind control, that never really worked. maybe be for 30 minutes max. but then you just shrug it off" he says. he now fully untied you from the bed, if you wanted you could run away but you didn't. "it took me a lot to figure out why it didn't work on you. all those years of experimenting on people, but you were the only one that could withstand it. you darling are special" he says as he traces his finger over your cheek and you flinch a bit at the touch. "so what do you want with me than?" you ask him. "oh that's simple. I'm going to tell you the truth" he says with a wicked grin on his face. "what?" you ask confused. "oh don't worry, we'll do some torturing too" he says "but first, I'm gonna tell you something that will change your life".

*bucky's pov*

you and Steve run up to Tony's lab, where he was still working. you walk in an see him stand in front of his screen, tears in his eyes. "Tony!" you say. he looks at you and cuts you off by saying "you were right Barnes, she's alive" he says as tears stream down his face. "y/n is alive" he said smiling. it was silent for a while as you let sink in that y/n wasn't dead, you were right, she's alive somewhere. "what did you find?" you ask Tony. "listen" he said touching the screen before him. a recording of y/n's communication device played. you heard y/n's voice 'go the exit is that way' you heard her say, you got emotional, it's been a long time since you heard y/n's voice, you'd almost forgotten what it sounded like. then you hear gunshots on the recording and y/n saying 'shit' under her breath. her breathing got faster and you heard her struggle before you heard her whisper into the device 'find me' you then heard the device fall to the ground. the line got silent for a minute or so before you heard an explosion before it went silent again. "that's it?" Steve asked not so convinced. "they took her" Tony said. "who?" you heard Steve ask "hydra" you answered for Tony.

they took you to an office looking room and tied you to a chair, making you look at a computer screen. then they left you alone, a few minutes later red skull came walking in. "you kept me waiting Johann" you say hoping it annoyed him. "well, haven't heard that name in a long time" he said calmly "but i'm not that man anymore" he said walking into the room. he undid the ties around your wrists. you looked at him confused. "told those dumbasses not to tie you up" he said. "what makes you so sure i don't run out of here in the next fucking second" you say to him. "because i'm gonna tell you something you always wanted to know" he replied. "oh yeah, and what's that?" you ask him a bit curious. "I'm gonna give you the name of the man that killed your mom" he said. no that couldn't be, this was a trick right. he was right tho if he really knew who did it, you wanted to know, so you could kill that son of a bitch. "but first" he says "I'm going to tell you what your dear captain had to say about you". he said as a video started playing on the screen.
